I didn’t like how the hot tub was cold water, it was not a pleasant surprise. The water pressure in the room was weak, and it took 5 minutes for the hot water to heat up. The lighting in the room wasn’t bright either, the bathroom was very dark and for a women staying there it was hard to get ready in the dark lighting.

One night while traveling
Our first time here, I was thrilled with a fabulous breakfast including bacon and great sausage, but this time there was no bacon and the sausage was dry. All in all, it's a pretty good breakfast, with some things about it being fabulous. There is a very nice hot tub as well, although it was cold when we first arrived. By morning it was great!

We had been given a room on the 6th floor which was a beautiful room, but faced a busy intersection of traffic. We asked if it was possible for another room, the lady was very gracious and instantly gave us an inside room that was much quieter. We sure appreciated that.

The staff at the Pomeroy really stand out. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Each staff member we encountered had a genuine smile on their face. Refreshing!

We stayed in the East tower, pictures showed a tub but actually only got a shower. Also, the road was really noisey, I suggest an inside facing room or be in the other tower which I enjoy much more. Parking is a big limitation at this hotel. No secured underground, just a really dark parkade really far from any entrances, doesnt feel safe at night. Front of the hotel has a bit of parking and a few spaces down the side. Restaurant is really nice for date night. Pool and hot tub are good. Steam room hasnt worked in a very very long time, guessing they are not planning on repairing? The breakfast changed recently. I had always booked this hotel because the included breakfast was so much better for hot food and pastries selections. This visit after all these years they down scaled to the typical included hot breakfast that the other hotel chains offer... cooked from frozen eggs, hashbrowns, sausage along with the toast/waffle station, cereals, yogurt, couple pastries and the common fruit salad. They did have a lovely selection of fresh oarmeal toppings, but no freshmade oatmeal to put it on.

Few defects in the room - dripping bath tap and light bulb defective. Not clear where entrance to hotel is as restaurant name is above main door. Parking not clearly marked - had to park in mall area next to hotel. Welcome cookies were good! Hotel was beautifully decorated. In house restaurant not as good as others but ok.
