Not great for a restful sleep
The room was too hot and couldn’t shut it off, they promised that someone would take care of it but they didn’t. At night when outside with the dog you could hear people opening their windows in the minus 20 weather.Smell of pot through the hotel from homeless coming in. Free breakfast includes beverages and the serving staff are just great!

Hotel is dated and needs renovations, our room had a small tv and a hole in the carpet Hallways the carpet was loose and worn Food in the restaurant was way over priced and then at payment time they removed the 15% tip and start at 18% service is not that good or was the food

Best breakfast and the staff is amazing. Housekeeping in the room seems to have taken a bit of a turn though - I don’t think they wash the coffee mugs between nights! They were placed back in the ‘ready to use’ position when they were dirty for each night of my stay, so I am doubtful that they are washed between guests.

The Podollan Suite is very nice, and comfortable. The only thing we would suggest is updates to decor such as paint colour as it is looking a little dated. But no real complaints!

Podollan Room, jetted tub and breakfast
We booked the ‘Podollan room’ for a ‘staycation’ it is a large room with a breakfast area, king sized bed and lots of pillows. A desk, couch and reclining chair. 2 person jetted tub in the main room was nice as well. The fireplace in the room sounded great, but didn’t do anything other than turn on a lightbulb inside; didn’t event look real. The bathroom is large with dual sinks, good sized shower and then a nice sized tub. The room is showing some of its age with door trim to the bathroom being loose and both doors didn’t close properly. The complementary breakfast was great. Made by Jax restaurant, you get to pick from a smaller menu, omelette, eggs, toast, hash browns, fruit.. breakfast was great and many steps better than the typical continental breakfasts hotels typically offer. All that said, it was a great get away and decent value.
