Great value and super clean!
Super clean! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful - they even gave us a couple of extra pillows when I asked. We've been travelling throughout the west (CO, NV, AZ, CA) for the last 2 weeks, booking hotels a day in advance when we decided where we'd go the next day. Took a chance on the Relax Inn based on the reviews. I was skeptical because of the price (by far the least expensive of the trip - under $60/night!) but it was a great room. A bit small, but it worked for us just fine. Had a fridge and microwave, and it's actually right on Route 66. Multiple nice restaurants, shopping, Walmart, etc are nearby. My only "complaint" is that the bed was more firm than we like. Others may find it perfectly fine. But overall, this was the best bang for the buck hotel we stayed at in the last 2 weeks of travel. Highly recommended!

The room was very nice. The staff was friendly. As with all hotels along Route 66, train noise can be heard. However, it wasn't bad and didn't disturb our sleep.

Nice place, but a little noisy because of the train. I suspect this is the case for all the places along "historic route 66".

Visit to Grand canyon South Rim
Trip was mainly to visit the,Grand Canyon and National monuments around the area. We were out most of 1 day and chkd out on the morning of 2nd day of stay.

Stayed for 3 nights as a solo traveler. It’s good for the price. There’s free parking and the place is close to downtown. Trains do pass by the front so it can get noisy if you’re a light sleeper. The only window is facing the front of the inn and to rt 66, so I had to close the curtains which made the room dark. I always prefer a bright room. But it’s a decent place to stay.

The property has been well updated. A train regularly runs nearby which could be nice or bad depending on how that affects your sleep. I tend to like the sound. Firm bed, mostly clean and well taken care of. Hot water, good AC, drains work well. I would repeat a stay for one or two night's travel. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. 11 minutes from the airport
