We recently stayed at the Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel for one night and, unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the price we paid. While there were some positive aspects, there were significant areas for improvement. Cleanliness Issues: One of the queen-sized beds was missing a bedsheet, and the comforter provided was visibly unclean, with a yellowed appearance. This was disappointing and unacceptable, especially given the hotel's pricing. No Included Breakfast: For the rate charged, we assumed breakfast would be included, as is often standard at comparable hotels. However, this was not the case, which was surprising and inconvenient. Reception Staff: On a positive note, the reception employee we interacted with was extremely pleasant, helpful, and professional. Their cordiality stood out and was much appreciated during our stay. While the staff's hospitality was commendable, the overall experience fell short of expectations due to the lack of cleanliness and missing amenities. For the premium pricing, we expected better attention to detail and more value for money.

My family and I went to dinner. We we seated. I assumed the restaurant was short staff. We have a 8 year old that was given a kids menu with nothing to draw with. Are waters finally came after a bit of time and the server ran off before I could say anything. I went to the host stand and simply asked if there were any crayons or something to write with. One of the the servers handed me a pin over her shoulder in a very rude manner. We ended up leaving shortly after.

Nothing special about this hotel but I had things I needed in the room so no complaint. The are was definitely very quiet in the night. It's because there's nothing really in the town. It's just a gateway to grand canyon and restaurants are limited. The hotel restaurant/bar was fairly decent and food was not bad at all. The wines were mostly local wines that I didn't recognize. We got lucky with our selection (CA wine) but I can't vouch for the others they have in the menu (The local beers I bought from a convenient store across the street were terrible). The window lock broke so I didn't get to open it but it wasn't a big deal. The hot tub was not busy when I used it and during the stay, I saw a hand full of people only using it. The traffic from the hotel to grand canyon is always terrible (except early in AM) so if I could've stayed in the park, I would've. But all in all, it's a decent hotel for the location and price and I would visit them again.
