The property looks old but it’s clean and maintained. The room looks recently renovated with nice decor and it was spacious. The bathroom and shower were great. Overall the room was very clean. The reasons for the low rating are as follows: Our television did not function properly. With the volume at its highest we could barely hear it. I told the front desk girl. She attempted to fix it with no success. She said she would check with the manager and get back to us. Never did. The next morning (we stayed 2 nights) I asked her about the TV. It was like she forgot. She promised to have it resolved by the time we got back from the Grand Canyon. It was not. After a long hike we wanted to relax and watch TV. Had to read the closed captioning. The walls are very thin and I could literally hear every word of the conversation of the guests next to us. Also the train ran all. Igor which was to be expected since I chose a hotel near the rail. Perhaps if I could have increased the volume on the TV it would not have bothered me. Also the breakfast was very limited and the orange juice and yogurt were terrible. We were also surprised our room was not cleaned, the bed was not even made and we ran out of tissues. Between the noise and the awful bed pillows I did not get much sleep. I would not stay here again.

Okay enough for a night.
This was an okay motel for the price, but nothing special. Clean enough for a cheap one night stay, and a cool old Route 66 design, but pretty bare bones.

Stopped for a passing through so was very ideal for us, however there was a train passing through regularly that some people might have an issue with but for us this was perfectly fine. Would recommend👍

Friendly Staff
Check-in was quick & efficient. The girl at the front desk was very friendly & sweet. We had a brief pleasant chat & then my wife & I were in our room within 5 minutes. The girl working in the office the next morning was also very friendly & helpful.

This property is unfortunately across the street from a very busy train track that is loud and noisy. I counted 13 trains passing by before I went to bed. Other than that, I was very satisfied.
