100 ft from the water, Home is more of a mini resort, large pirate ship for your kids adventure. Basement has a game room with arcade machines, pool table, 2 large screen TV’s in game room. Arcade machines do not require coinage. Fully stocked kitchen, pots & pans, dishes, dishwasher, spices, cereal and cereal bars, cookware, blender, toaster, mixer, crock pot, can opener, lobster pot and lobster cooker on deck. Individual condiment packages provided in refrigerator (Mayo, mustard, ketchup, tarter sauce, relish) Shampoo, conditioner, dove soap, tooth paste, mouth wash, toothbrushes, razor, shaving cream, hand lotion all provided in bathrooms. Remove the kayaks or paddle boards from the kayak stand and go out for daily adventures on the water. Life Jackets are provided and located in the deck box beside kayak stand. The gazebo (facing ocean) has a fully stocked s’mores bar for your kids to enjoy. Jiffy pop popcorn included. Propane fire pit and seating. Advice that you bring hot dogs for the kids to enjoy cooking over the fire. Cooking sticks are provided. Hot tub located on the deck (facing ocean) for your vacation pleasure. Just throw in a chlorine tablet to keep the water clean during your stay. Hot tub water is drained and refilled prior to each tenancy to prevent diseases and infections. Plenty of deck seating with a large table to eat outside. Large light that lights up back deck all night long if you should choose while facing the ocean. propane grill for your use. Also a conversation area with a wood burning fire pit (you need to provide or purchase own wood) but not facing the ocean. The Arcadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula (on the Main Land) which is about 10 minutes from the house, the trails and the views are amazing. Next door to the park entrance is a Ferry terminal that goes to the island. The island is a big national park with days worth of activities on the island. Would suggest driving up Cadillac mountain. Any daring person not afraid of heights can hike the precipice trail. Miles of bikes trails and lots of hiking trails for all skills. Winter Harbor, Corea great little villages to visit. Puffin boat tours are local, whale watching. The Bartlett Winery is down the street and does wine tasting and the bottle of wine left in house for guests is from there. Fletcher Woods Nature Preserve is also very close by within walking trails. At the house if you take out the kayaks and go to the left, the bay is 8 miles of calm water to kayak seeing eagles, harbor seals, sea otters and an occasional basking shark. To the right is very calm water which has an old colonial dock and fishing areas to view, fishing area under water but you can see all the old traps. Many great restaurants in the area, Pickeled Wrinkle in Gouldsboro, Helen’s in Ellsworth, Tracey’s Seafood in Sullivan, Mexican Restaurant in Gouldsboro, Lunch on the Wharf in Corea, Chipmans Wharf in Millbridge does tours in their facility, you can buy all kinds of seafood there.
