The UNESCO World Heritage town of Goslar, with historical roots dating back to the 10th century, is just a few kilometres away, as is Clausthal Zellerfeld, a mountain and university town with a technical university that is famous beyond Germany's borders.
Hahnenklee has made a name for itself as a natural paradise for nature lovers, hikers and fresh air fans.
Worth mentioning here are The Upper Harz Water Management World Heritage Site, the certified premium hiking trail "Liebesbankweg" and the themed hiking trail "Mensch und Wald".
Families get their money's worth at the Bocksberg adventure centre. The various attractions promise adrenaline and fun: the summer toboggan run, new from 2025 the "Drachenblitz", Zipline Adventure, Bikepark Hahnenklee, downhill mountain biking and the beautiful scenery for mountain bikers, e-bikers or leisure cyclists.
All within easy reach of our holiday flats in the Hahnenklee holiday park, which also has plenty to offer: Adventure playground, low ropes course, mini golf, fitness equipment for adults and table tennis, Cabana holiday park with barbecue area (book in advance !!!).
Are you looking for holiday accommodation with enough space? With free fast WLAN (own contract, no hotspot), Smart TV for streaming services and with GIGA TV Box for brilliant television with many channels, also in English, and many DVDs for the evening programme.
We offer you all this in our 58 square metre flat with 3 bedrooms. It is located in house 6 of the Hahnenklee holiday park, near the Erlebnisbocksberg, on the mezzanine floor. The combined living/dining room with modern kitchenette is furnished with a leather sofa, a dining area for 6 people, a large dining table and an open-plan kitchen-living room that leaves nothing to be desired.
There are 2 single box-spring beds in the 1st bedroom, a double box-spring bed (140x200) in the 2nd bedroom and 1 box-spring bed (140x200) in the children's room. 2 sanitary rooms are available, 1 x 1 guest WC with toilet and hand basin and 1 x a larger sanitary room with walk-in shower, WC and double basin. Both sanitary rooms are newly tiled and fitted with new sanitary elements.
There is a spacious hallway with built-in wardrobe and 1 storage room, which can also be used for bicycles and, in winter, for skis and snowboards. The balcony is furnished with attractive balcony furniture. From there you have a direct view of the Bocksberg and the surrounding forests as well as the Erlebnisbocksberg. An electric barbecue on the balcony is waiting to be used by our summer guests.
The kitchen, new and chic, offers upscale equipment including a dishwasher for more quality time with the family. Crockery is available for approx. 12 people, as well as a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, cooker with ceramic hob and oven. You can use our high-speed WiFi via your own contract, not via the holiday park's hotspot. We have a Smart TV and a GIGA TV Box from Vodafone for streaming and cable TV with many channels, as well as the music programme from Vadafone. Our offer is rounded off with a DVD player and many DVDs.
The 1st bedroom has 2 box spring single beds and wardrobe. The 2nd sleeping area has a box spring double bed and 1 wardrobe. We have therefore equipped all sleeping areas with box-spring beds for extra sleeping comfort. The children's room now also has a box-spring double bed. We also provide a travel cot free of charge for our younger guests. Your children will find a large toy box with games, colouring materials and books on site. A high chair and children's crockery are also part of our facilities. A 2nd television is available in the children's room. The middle bedroom and the children's room do not have a window, as is usual in this type of holiday apartment.
Free extras are: Free WLAN, approx. 50 DVDs, some dishwasher tabs, in winter: 1 sledge.
And Hahnenklee offers its guests value for money, we promise. On the Bocksberg it's not just Walpurgis when all hell breaks loose. A great family leisure centre has been created here, leaving nothing to be desired: summer toboggan run, Bocksbergbob, Drachenblitz, Bagjump, electric cars, children's carousel, giant slide, observation tower, trampoline, Bocksberg carts, wall school and the Bocksberghütte await you. Accessible on foot via the Liebesbankweg, which, with its many play options, e.g. the water playground, also encourages lazy children to take a tour of the Liebesbankweg. But there is also the convenient option of taking the cable car or 4-seater chairlift up the Bocksberg.
The Chinese-style slide can be used by your kids free of charge from morning to night.
And if you prefer things a little quieter, visit the Hahnenkle landmark, the Stave Church or the Paul Lincke House.
Or are you into mountain biking? Hahnenklee is part of the Volksbank Arena Harz mountain bike trail network. Even more action on 2 wheels? Here you can also go downhill at a rapid pace to the cable car station or the 4-seater chairlift, which transports bikes and bikers up the mountain for the next round.
The holiday park also offers great activities on site: Low ropes course, large adventure playground, mini golf, table tennis and exercise equipment for adults.
Swimming: You can go swimming for free on presentation of your spa card in summer at the Waldseebad Kuttelbacher Teich or at a reduced rate at the Hotel Harzhöhe next to the holiday park. Guests of the holiday park can also use the sauna and wellness area there and book the great breakfast buffet.
Please note: For 2 families travelling together, our flat 144 is located directly next door.

1. we attach great importance to cleanliness. We assure you that we have intensified our efforts in this regard since the times of Corona and that the flat cleaning is carried out according to tourist hygiene standards.
2. unfortunately, the latest incidents force us to ask dog owners for a deposit, please follow our rules in the "Information for guests with 4-legged companions".
We have level-access showers and space in the large bathroom to reach the toilet. Nevertheless, we ask guests with disabilities to contact us to clarify further questions such as the width of the doors or similar for wheelchair users in order to avoid unpleasant surprises. We may then have to ask you to look for another flat that is more suitable for the disabled, as otherwise there could be problems with us.
