Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Close to the Broadwater and The Spit. Reasonable price. Clean and modern. Tearooms are basic but perfectly adequate.

Clean, friendly and convenient
We were at the Woodroffe hotel for 2 nights. The room was clean, comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed. However, the room was tiny. No cupboard for storage. On saying that, you are in Queensland, so you dont really want to be hanging around in the room all day. The bathroom was very clean - just a doorless shower, which ends up with water all over the floor. They did however, give us two bathmats, so I used one to dry the floor, once the water had drained. The lifts are very efficient, the staff were friendly, and the location was quite good - close to the university and to the beach and Australia Fair shopping Centre.

Always clean and very convenient. Love that we can walk a block to an array of dining experiences. Easy parking on the side street and 10 minutes drive from HOTA or Main Beach for a swim. Highly recommend.

The Woodroffe hotel was in a good position for the band we went to see situated near china town and Australia Fair. The hotel reception staff were friendly but reception closes at 7pm. The room had a dirty stained carpet and an overwhelming smell of disinfectant which was mixed with a drain smell. The king bed was two mattresses put together. It was otherwise clean more of a budget hotel which for the rate we paid of $320 for one night made it worse. It has a small cafe only open in the morning which we didn’t visit. There is also very limited secure parking for the hotel but there is metered parking on the roads outside so it wasn’t a problem but should be in booking info as you are unlikely to secure a park in the hotel. Overall it was ok but far too expensive as it was budget, no frills at best.

The bathroom was dangerous, the water from the shower spread over the whole floor, dont know what the point of the drain was for, it did nothing. The bathroom appeared to cater for disabled which is great but very dangerous, water spread around the toilet, to the hand basin and to the door.

Very friendly staff. Underground parking felt very secure. Its a small room, but incredibly clean and a great home base while traveling. Would stay here again without any heistation.

Japanese owned Hotel that is very neat and clean! I highly recommend this complex to any traveller seeking a straight forward hotel room located on the edge of the Southport CBD. Additionally, it was only a 10m Uber to a Sea World Conference Centre Function that I attended last night. So very central. Lastly, breakfast was also very good and included a well made coffee! Well done at The Woodroffe!
