Reception service was poor and unhelpful, restaurant was poor, expensive and uninviting with left over dried up breakfast food in Bay Marie’s at 5pm !! Bar and entertainment was Good / Room was comfortable but some rubbish found under sink area

We had a great stay. Very happy with the room and price for the location. We had some concerns when reading other reviews but our experience was good. For example, there was no cutlery but it was easy to get from the kitchen. The reason given was hygiene which is a great idea not relying on the previous person to clean the dishes. There was small wear a tear in the room with some chips and cracks in the tiles which is to be expected. We didn't find the staff rude at all. Some reviews were about the $100 deposit not being refunded. There is now a different system where that doesn't happen. Overall a comfortable stay and would happily stay there again.

No clean towels, toilet paper for 9 days. No crockery, cutlery in room. Tea and coffee not replenished. Once out of reception the areas were very tired and needed upgrades.

We stay at this hotel regularly . It has become home to my husband and I . The staff are courteous and go out of their way to help when they can . The location is superb . The food portions are enormous from the restaurant and their menu choices are great offering something affordable for everyone. Hope island harbour is terrific value for money too .

First thing is do not expect to be able to check in before 2pm - we were 15 minutes early but still had to sit and wait until 2pm even though there wasn't anyone else there. While the location is really nice and it was very convenient for us, I wouldn't recommend the buffet breakfast. It had very limited options and only had instant coffee available. This did not entice us to try any of their other dining options. A positive is parking onsite was very easy and the room was fairly comfortable.

Manager named May didn't greet us, was yelling at staff. I slipped on wet floor. Buffet breakfast was basic, cold and set out poorly. When told May she said 'I don't care' and gave us a refund for an apple juice which we didn't order. Won't stay there again.

This establishment needs new management. There is an extremely rude Asian lady at this property. I had booked guests that needed to change their dates due to work and they refused to change or refund. I had to rebook a new room. When I called, she kept saying no change no refund it cannot be done. This is really poor service and can all be avoided with a simple date change. In the hospitality industry, people pay for good service and this place is far-fetched from good service. I then did some deeper digging and went onto trip Advisor and I was shocked that everyone had had the same type of experience. This is a call to have your management changed and re-look at your policies when it comes to changes! Stop robbing people!

Had a great one night stay. Room was super clean and an amazing price. No issues with money taken from credit card, like other reviews mention. Fantastic quiet location. Would stay again.

The room ok n surroundings yet not happy no room service for my 3 nites stayed. The man in the bar i believe 1 of the owner not in a hotel service accommodation attitude only after money don't care bout the guests no interactions n has a judgemental look attitude even the other partner an asian lady named May no acknowledgement to the guests as if i owed them for staying to that hotel. So distance that place where all the tourist's spots attractions n activities thus it cost too much money re transpo as so tiring if catching buses 2x 711 n 728 plus walking then uber fr market place to accom cost less than 10AUD. Better it's 50cents fare now fr Aug to Dec. I will not stay there a/more not a helpful staff
