Rocky Creek Escape by Tiny Away
Summary:
Welcome to Rocky Creek Escape, a peaceful countryside retreat in Glenwood. Set on 3.5 acres of natural beauty, this farm stay QLD offers a serene escape with stunning views of Rock Creek. Surrounded by lush flora and fauna, you'll enjoy the sounds of wildlife, birds, and friendly farm animals.
Relax by the soothing flow of the creek, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a passing platypus–uniquely adorable, if we do say so ourselves!
The Space:
Rocky Creek Escape by Tiny Away is nestled in the foothills of the Bauple Mountains, a national park famous for the rare Bauple Plant (Macadamia Nut Tree), which is listed as vulnerable in the wild.
The tiny home sits in the peaceful rural community of Glenwood, part of Queensland's Fraser Coast, which holds a deep cultural and spiritual significance for the Kabi Kabi and Butchulla people.
Just 30 minutes from the historic gold mining town of Gympie and a short 35-minute drive to the ferry at Inskip Point for a trip to K'gari (Fraser Island), this hidden gem offers a unique blend of natural beauty and local history.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home is nestled in a shady eucalypt forest, with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).
If you plan to spend your farm stay QLD getaways here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!
