The surrounding mountains, such as the Coomasaharn horse-shoe mountain to the south, Seefin and Curra to the east and west, and Slievemish to the north, all offer beautiful hikes and scenic views to go along with their activities. An abundance of hiking trails are just a fifteen-minute drive away from the McGillycuddy Reeks (the highest peaks in Ireland), and the picturesque village of Killorglin is also within easy reach.
