Perfect 4th of July getaway
This property was the perfect size for my family for a short 4th getaway. We love the Conway NH area and it was nice to be right on the Saco river. The hot tub was a great bonus and I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to access the river through a stairway in the back yard of the property. The back deck was the perfect spot to wind down and relax at night, but also wake up and listen to the river while having a cup of coffee in the morning. Luckily it wasn’t too hot without AC and the fans kept us cool at night. Would definitely stay at this property again!

Great location, but older home that is lacking TLC
My husband and I stayed at this home with our two children, 4 and 7, for a ski vacation in late February. The home is in an ideal location for this type of activity - only 3 minutes to Attitash and less than 20 minutes to Wildcat. And the view of the river from the back deck is very pretty. Unfortunately though, our experience here had a lot more negatives than positives. The master loft area bed is very uncomfortable. We weren't actually able to sleep in it after trying for two nights. There is no actual door on the bathroom upstairs (just a folding shutter) and no door going down to the basement bedroom so privacy and noise is a big issue. Although the home is shown and advertised as having a fireplace, you are not permitted to use it. This was not made clear and should be explained before booking. The back deck had hoses and other outdoor equipment on it and had no been cleared of snow so there was no way to use the space. There is flooring missing downstairs and there was carpeting piled up outside. It looks like they may have recently experienced significant water damage and be in the midst of trying to fix it, but more work is needed. There were lightbulbs out in many places. Overall, while this home is in a great location, there is lot of wear and tear and it doesn't appear to be very well taken care of. I think if some updates were made (e.g., replacing beds and adding doors), this could make a big difference.

Ambience is enjoyable
My dad, mom, sister and myself wanted a getaway for the Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed our stay. The home is welcoming. The beds, furniture and outside deck are comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ambience of the property overlooking the Saco river. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great Location
The location of this property is great. If you're looking for a relaxing place, this has it. My only complaint about the property is that the access directly to the river in the back of the house is difficult because it is washed out, but there is easier access a couple houses down to the beach on the river. This is not a negative though. The property management is easy to contact, but not very good at acting. We had a clogged bathtub and notified them, they replied but nobody came to fix. Overall we enjoyed our stay, we just accepted the flaws.

Fun Stay
Overall our experience was good. The pros: loads of space, accuracy of listing, location, river right outside, outdoor space, and nice views. The cons: No AC (and it got hot), basement was musty and got a little wet/damp due to all the rain, and dealing with any issues with Vacasa is like calling any other customer service.

Beware: VACASA Rental Management homes
This house was modest, simple, and great. The location was wonderful. Note: bring extra towels and be prepared for a choking amount of chlorine in the hot tub - regardless, we did enjoy it. **MAJOR CON: We lost heat in the middle of our stay. We later learned that the temp was scheduled to drop to 55 and we couldn't override it. Communication with Vacasa Rental Management was atrocious and nonexistent. I texted, called, and emailed every Vacasa number/email I had. I received nothing but a general copy-and-paste answer of "We apologize for this inconvenience. We will notify someone to take care of this." No one showed up until the end of the second day without heat. There was no firewood provided for the fireplace and the basement smelled of oil. So, we pulled mattresses up the stairs and the kids all slept under piles of blankets in the living room. Fridged temps, and the inability to get warm really made this a very unpleasant stay. We ended up leaving halfway through our vacation and wasted money on ski tickets we never used. The kicker is...if someone from Vacasa Rental Management was paying any attention at all to our situation, they would have realized that all they needed to do is change the temp remotely for us. What started off as a slight oversight, turned into a miserable vacation for two families. To the homeowners: you have a lovely home in a great location. Do yourself a favor and find another company to represent your property. Steer clear of Vacasa Rental Management - they 100% dropped the ball here. I have been inundated with automated text messages and emails about "How was your stay? Did you enjoy your stay with us? etc etc" I'm pretty sure I'm not going to hear back from Vacasa Rental Management regarding this stay, and the money that has been wasted on this trip. Really disappointed in the inability of this very large international company to manage a property and the needs of their renters.

Moms Trip
Went up to enjoy a shopping weekend with just the girls. We were 6 adults and had plenty of room. Place was clean and came with all necessities- except coffee. They had a keurig, just no pods (so bring some if you want morning coffee. ) The hot tub was also clean and worked great. It was the perfect spot for what we wanted. Not too much around for food, so next time we would buy groceries to cook. There was the Spaghetti Shed at the end of the street for pizza/Italian take out. Other than that it was hard getting into a place without a long wait- many wouldn’t do take out because they were already so busy. Some had 2 hr waits because it was a busy shopping weekend event at the outlets. All in all we had a great time, enjoyed the beautiful river scenery and the house.
