Avoid car park
Car park is dire wouldn't recommend. Lovely big room and hotel itself is nice but the mattress was so hard, iv never experienced that in a hotel bed before was like lying on a brick. Unfortunately there was a seasonal fairground event happening in the park directly opposite hotel so my hopes of an early night were thwarted by loud music outside til 11pm. I stayed as was attending a conf in the hotel, advertised parking was quite a let down.

Tho hotel is clean and rooms are very spacious. We really liked our room and how nice everything was but didn’t like the parking arrangement. Because we were told to park in the Waitrose parking area across from the hotel. There are limited parking and then you have to exit via the shop’s door with your luggage. Other than that it was perfect. The breakfast was really good but the staff could be a little more attentive and pay more attention to the cleanliness of the plates and glasses .

Nice hotel albeit a little dated with the fixtures and fittings. Only down side is you can clearly hear room doors banging and also the cupboards within rooms banging as well. Quite annoying early in the morning.
