The accommodation was clean and quiet and had plenty of room for 2 adults and two children. The yard was large and the pool clean and uncrowded. The barbeques are clean and well designed.The kitchen is a little small as is the bathroom but both were clean and tidy. A garbage can at the back door would be useful - the small container in the kitchen wasn't adequate. It's priced about right for location, condition and service.

Although obviously an older property the standard of renovation was very good, the only downside was a lack of storage for luggage/wardrobe space.

Friendly staff value for money nice outdoor areas to sit in and plenty to keep kids occupied pool etc even a pooch motel if needed. Easy to find as on main road in from Opotiki. Clean but a bit tired.

We always stay here in the cottage when we come to Gisborne. Not the most modern but really comfy and quirky. The owners are really nice and helpful.

Nice hotel for the price with great transport opti
We got this hotel at a great last minute rate. It is located just down from Batmans hill where a mainline tram comes through. It is also only a short walk from Southern Cross station so you can sky bus from and to the airport. Transport sorted. Spacious, massive bed, quiet, average lift but hey can't complain. All in all great for what we needed. .

the pool, and playground were well used by us during our stay, we had our small grand daughter with us who loved the pool and tramps and swings. aircon was a bonus, would have been nicer if we could control the settings and timers. internet was another bonus. the motelier was nice and helpful

Nice family motel quiet
Nice family oriented motel no flash extras but clean and functional with large rooms. We stayed for two nights and it was nice that they remade the beds each day and gave us clean towels as not all do this in my experience. Well equipped basic kitchen. Room slept up to 5 but didn't actually have enough crockery for 5 people and the table only had enough seats for 3 which was odd for a family unit.
