Pleased with my booking at Days Inn Gillette.

The front desk host was very friendly and helpful. Very nice personality and was very welcoming. Everything was clean and tidy from the parking lot all the way up to the room. The breakfest in the morning was very good, kitchen and serving areas were clean and organized.

Everything seems great for a one night stay on a road trip. Easy access to the highway, shopping and friendly staff. The room has everything we need.

One issue with the property are the side doors. They're not locked, so anyone can walk into the building. There is no location to swipe your hotel key to unlock the door. Another issue is the breakfast area is very small, so they're trying to fit in a lot in a very small space. No more than two guests can be in line for anything. I was a little alarmed that wires are running uncovered for the security cameras. No case to protect them. My biggest complaint is the room. I booked a king bed, but the bed I got looked smaller than a queen bed. I went down to the front desk and asked for a price difference on the room, but she didn't care to do anything. I took a picture of the bed with a suit on it for comparison. The bed is smaller than a queen, and the website doesn't have any double rooms available. The photos of the rooms are just concept photos. Nothing like the real thing.
