The Schloss Geisa was the best stay during our 10-night trip through Germany. What a surprise to find this gem in the small town area of Germany. Quiet, modern facility yet quaint as well. Service superb, roomy accommodations, wonderful breakfast. We came at Easter and everything looked festive. My only regret is we only booked one night!!

Das Schloß Geisa ist eine ganz besondere Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind groß und so sauber, dass man vom Fußboden essen könnte. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze und ein ausführliches Frühstück.

Freundliches Personal, alles sauber und eine gelungene Symbiose zwischen neuen Hotel und altem Schloss. Parkmöglichkeit direkt vom Hotel. Das Einzelzimmer ist recht groß, und hell dafür der Fernseher leider extrem klein. Der Frühstücksraum ist schön und hell, das Frühstück ist völlig ausreichend an die Konsistenz vom Rührei sollte man jedoch keine Ansprüche stellen.

Die Möbel, speziell die Polstermöbel, sind schon sehr abgewohnt (blätternde Oberfläche, verschmutzt, Im Bad deutliche Kalkablagerung an der Dusche). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vermisst haben wir Jemanden, der Dinge wie "Aufmerksamkeit gegenüber dem Gast" und Mängelbeseitigung im Auge hat. Falls es ein Hotelmanagement gibt, macht es einen sehr schlechten Job.

Wir (4 Personen) hatten 2 Doppelzimmer reserviert. Leider war bei der Ankunft nur eines davon verfügbar und das Hotel bis auf ein Einzelzimmer ausgebucht. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat sich wegen dem Fehler entschuldigt und uns sehr hilfsbereit das Einzelzimmer mit einem Ausziehsessel zur Verfügung gestellt. Leider war das gebuchte Doppelzimmer nicht um 14 Uhr (und auch nicht um 14:30 Uhr) beziehbar, so dass wir uns zu viert abwechselnd im Einzelzimmer für unsere Familienfeier zurecht gemacht haben. Uns wurde als Grund eine größere Gesellschaft am Vorabend angegeben, die die Zimmer zu spät verlassen hatte und dass das Personal zu dieser Zeit unterbesetzt wäre. Nach unserer Rückkehr um ca. 23 Uhr von unserer Familienfeier mussten wir leider feststellen, dass die Sauberkeit der Toilette (verdreckt) zu wünschen übrig ließ und der Kosmetikeimer noch bis zum Rand voll war. Das war sehr schade, denn das Zimmer an sich ist schön groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet gewesen. Leider war auch die abgezogene Bettwäsche aller Zimmer auf dieser Etage vom Vortag noch am nächsten Morgen auf dem Weg zum Frühstücksbuffet zusammengeknüddelt offen auf einer Truhe im Hausflur zu sehen gewesen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war okay.
