The lady that was in charge was AMAZING! So friendly and accommodating. NOTHING was too much trouble and if I had a qualm she was honest and forthcoming. Can’t wait to go back

Hotel lobby staff were great but that’s kind of where it ends rooms. The rooms need some love and care. Very noisy and birds in the roof so noisy it sounded like they were in the aircon. If needing a good night sleep I do not recommend

The Admiralty was a great place to stay in geelong. Affordable, close to the waterfront and venues. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was clean and comfortable with everything needed.

We stayed at this property after arriving off the Spirit of Tasmania. Roughly a 10 minute drive from the terminal and fairly central to restaurants and cafes within driving distance. They do have their own restaurant next door but it was closed on the night we were there. Reception closes at 6 p.m. but you can make prior arrangements for a late check in. Access to the key was easy. Our room was a reasonable size, the bed was comfortable, water hot and WiFi good. It was also nice to have a sofa to sit on. Parking is on the premises with no designated spots. If you have mobility issues, make sure you request a ground floor unit. Would recommend.

The motel is already tired, it needs to be refurbished. Great location for dining and recreation as it close to the must visit places in Geelong. Also, we gave 2 stars on cleanliness because our room smelled like stinky feet, must be coming from the couch or the carpet when we were watching the tv. Continental breakfast was good except that we have noticed plates and cutleries were not cleaned properly.

Stayed here a few times now as it was accessible to attending an event at GMHBA stadium which is walkable. The room was very spacious and comfortable and has crockery and a microwave for heating food.

Room next to reception, whilst generally clean and comfortable, cobwebs in bathroom and the lack of windows due to being blocked from the outside meant it was a bit stuffy as could not get fresh air or see out.

Central but rundown
Reception staff were friendly but the condition of the room and the area around the room was poor. The only way to get to the room was to pass broken furniture, rubbish bins and dirty laundry. The kitchen equipment supplied was good for a motel room (toaster, microwave, cutlery etc) and the bathroom was clean and functional. However the threadbare carpets, holes in the curtains, broken desk and missing security lock on the door (for the supplied security chain) were a letdown. Its in a great position, about 800m from a major shopping centre and lots of restaurants but based on my room it does not deserve the rating it currently has. Maybe other rooms have been upgraded or are better but this review is based on the room i was in and the area around it. I wouldnt stay there again.
