Access to private trails, a pool, pickleball, parks, and more. The area is well known for great golf, snowmobiling, riding trails, and snow skiing.

Countless attractions within an hour drive including Mackinac Island, Torch Lake, Petoskey, Traverse City, and more.

Guest access
•All areas of the house available for guests to use.
•Front door has a keypad to enter the house. Code will be given the week of check-in.
•The neighborhood is accessed by dirt roads. There is room to park 5 cars in front of the house and overflow parking at the neighborhood pool.
•In winter months, four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended due to the large amount of snow.
Other things to note
Location:
•We are about 15 minutes from the closest town, Gaylord. Gaylord has about anything you need, and is the best place to get groceries.
•Visit popular lake areas such as Petoskey, Traverse City, or Torch Lake. Mackinac Island & Bridge are just an hour drive from the house.

Water:
•If the house hasn't been used within the last couple of weeks, you may notice a sulfur smell when you first turn on the water. That is a common issue in the area, and there is no need to be concerned. The water is not harmful in any way. We recommend running the water for 5-10 minutes when you first arrive, and that helps clear it out. To accommodate, there is bottled water available for guests to use during their stay.

Cell Phone/Internet:
•Cell phone service can be spotty depending on the provider. Free WIFI is available to guests.

Firewood:
•We do not provide firewood for the outdoor fire pit. There are places nearby along Hayes Tower road that sell wood by the bundle.

This cottage offers its guests an outdoor pool. The front desk is open around the clock.
