- BEDROOM 1 (main level): 1 queen bed, plus a closet, luggage rack, dresser with plenty of storage (direct access to the main floor bathroom)
- BEDROOM 2 (main level): 2 twin beds, plus a dresser with ample storage and a laptop friendly work space (no closet but there is a rack to hang clothes)
- BEDROOM 3 (upper level): 1 queen bed, plus a laptop friendly work space (no closet but there is a rack to hang clothes)
- BEDROOM 4 (upper level): 2 cot size bunk beds, plus shelves of books and board games and a dresser with some storage

Bathrooms: we provide quality towels (e.g., bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth, makeup towel), premium, sustainable personal care products from Public Goods (e.g., shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hand soap), and an initial supply of toilet papers (enough for a few days).
- BATHROOM 1: full bath (bathtub)
- BATHROOM 2: 3/4 bath (standing shower)

Kitchen: fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and spices plus a charcoal grill. We also provide an initial supply of Keurig coffee pods, ground coffee, creamer, tea, condiments (e.g., ketchup, mayo, mustard), trash bags, laundry detergent pods, and paper towels. Parking: each reservation comes with 2 parking spots in the community parking lot.

AREA: the chalet is only 6 minutes away from the closet gas station and 12 minutes drive to Gaylord, where you can find many restaurants, grocery stores, and a movie theater.

AC: summer is fairly mild in Northern Michigan. Like many homes in the region, there is no central air conditioning in the unit. That said, we do provide a portable AC unit along with 4 portable/standing fans, and we encourage guests to open the windows to help with air circulation when necessary.

WASHER/DRYER: due to septic tank limitation, there is no in-unit washer and dryer.

WATER: Due our water source coming from a well near a lake, depending on the season, the water (especially when hot) may have a sulfur smell. This is quite common for our area. Please note that the water is perfectly healthy to drink, and we do provide a gallon of spring/purified water to start plus a water purifier jug for your use.

* The chalet is located in a wooded area, so you may see and hear bugs, furry critters of all sizes (including but not limited to deer, squirrels, and rodents), and reptiles. Our property has regularly scheduled pest control, however, we cannot guarantee that any such critters will not be visible in and around the property. Please try to keep the doors closed, do not leave food outside to prevent entry of unwanted critters. Also do not feed any wildlife as they are wild animals. No refunds will be provided if a local critter visits the property.

* Children are welcome at the chalet; however, Parents should use their own discretion when booking.

* No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.
During your stay at this chalet, you'll be close to Gaylord Country Club. Enjoy features like an arcade/game room.

Wonderful Stay!
What a great spot! The area was peaceful and totally relaxing for our family getaway. The beds were so comfy, and the place is so thoughtfully laid out to accommodate a larger group and give everyone privacy. The lake was lovely, and the use of the paddle boat /kayaks was a great bonus. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Perfect for a stop off from Wisconsin
We just had a small stop off here as we were driving for a soccer tournament to break up the drive. Perfect location for us and our 2 kids. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. Kids already said that they want to come and spend more time here!

Fantastic Property
We loved this property. Traveled with my 4 kids (11-20) and a dog It was a well stocked house, including a small but well stocked kitchen, towels, bedding, games, movies, and fun lake entertainment. Everyone slept comfortably, there wasn't a bad room in the house. Despite the lack of AC, in July we stayed cool with the provided fans and open windows. Great fishing in the lake, fun to paddle and swim in, with a floating dock and platform. Lily pads and trilliums on the property thrilled my plant loving heart. Parking was close and easy. Location was great for exploring everything from Mackinac Island to Traverse city. Really, everything was perfect. Loved this place. 10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful up north getaway
We loved this sweet chalet. It was cozy and had so many extra little touches. Super comfortable beds, great game selections for the kids, kayaks/paddle boats/fishing poles all provided with the listing. We had a great breeze and plenty of windows and fans that made even hot days feel cool for sleeping. The little retro touches were adorable and overall we just were very satisfied with the cabin. Of course the view was amazing and the quiet lake was great for kayaking and fishing. Jared was a rockstar who checked on us and made sure all our needs were met! He went above and beyond! As far as the location we were a simple 10 minutes to groceries, shops and dining. It felt like a country get away but really was so close to everything we needed. We’d definitely recommend this spot!!

Peaceful and beautiful
Loved our stay in this beautiful chalet! Felt spacious, the layout worked very well for our group of 5 adults. The pictures can only partially convey the peaceful, fun vibe of this place! We all felt such positive vibes and it just made us happy hanging out here! Lovely decor, lots of supplies that made you feel welcome, and not like you were intruding in someone else’s space. Owner was great to work with as well. We have told lots of friends about this hidden gem and will definitely be back! Highly recommend staying here!
