The Cloud 9 Lodge received the honor of being featured on the cover of Log Cabin Homes Magazine. This stunning custom built lodge is constructed with 12”D logs, along with massive beams and great architectural design. The Cloud 9 Lodge also received the privilege of winning the Rouleau Award represented by the Buildings Systems Councils of NAHB.
This stunning one-of-a-kind custom built lodge offers six luxurious master bedrooms. Each one uniquely decorated with the theme of the Great Smoky Mountains. All master bedrooms are very spacious in size with sitting area, large TVs, king size beds, large full bathrooms and best of all, each one has their own private access to the great outdoors along with amazing mountain views from every room! The loft offers the same luxurious amenities as the master bedrooms, it features two king size beds and one full size along with its own private large full bathroom and personal excess to a private deck.
The layout of Cloud 9 is designed perfectly by its scale and proportion that can easily accommodate large groups to meet all your needs.
The top floor
The top floor consists of an open loft overlooking the double living areas below and has panoramic views from the front and back. The loft has 2 king size beds and one full size bed with a private full bathroom along with an outside deck. There is one master bedroom (Mt. LeConte) with king size bed, tv, full bathroom, large sitting area and a private deck with an absolute stunning view of Mount Leconte. The loft has an observatory seating area, with views of Ober Gatlinburg, Ski slopes in the winter, tram passing by, Clingmans Dome and the Great Smoky Mountains.
The main level
The main level of Cloud 9 is the heart of the home, upon entering you will feel the warmth and the impact this stunning lodge has to offer. The main living area is a large open concept consisting of the living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen layout is designed especially for large groups. It is very well thought out with great detail and planning. It has three ovens, one is electric with a top and bottom oven the other is a gas unit with an oven. Both units are directly across from each allowing easy access for others cooking in the kitchen. The kitchen has a double refrigerator with a water dispenser and ice maker. There is an island located in the middle for prepping and preparing. There are numerous skillets, mixing bowls, pots and pans to accommodate all your cooking needs. The sideboard (located in the dining room) stores crock pots, a kitchen aid mixer and other large kitchen items. The large dining room table sits a party of twelve along with two arm captain chairs at each end. The kitchen has a high top between dividing the cooking area from the dining area which allows four more to be seated directly beside the dining table. The kitchen has its own covered deck with double sliding doors and another outside dining with seating for eight. There is a large gas grill.
There are two living areas with double couches facing each other and two recliners with a fireplace and TV directly above it. The second one, is a sitting area directly across from the other, it offers views of Mount Leconte, Ober Gatlinburg, Anakeesta, and Clingmans Dome. There are two master bedrooms located on the main floor. Elkmont master bedroom offers a king size bed, tv, sitting area and sliding doors leading to the deck. The Great Smoky master oversized room with king size bed, tv, sitting area, sliding doors leading to deck. It has a large custom walk-in shower with two shower heads and one handheld. There is seating within the bathroom for getting ready. This bedroom allows the view of the ski slopes, tram passing by, while lying in bed! The double sliding doors of both bedrooms offer stunning views of the mountains including Mount LeConte.
The lower level
The lower level is the entertainment hub. It has one sitting area with a fireplace and double sliding doors to the front of the Lodge. It has the same views that are seen from the main level living room. There are two electronic barrel gaming systems and corn hole boards. One with the above screen consists of 3,000 games. There is a large pool table and small bar with a full size double refrigerator. The Theater has reclining theater chairs with separate settings designed for each person to enjoy. There are double sliding doors for the back covered patio leading to the swim spa. There are three master bedrooms. The Elkmont master and the Ober master are located at the back end away from the entertainment area. Both have king-size beds, tv, full bathrooms, sitting area and double sliding doors with the same views from the main level bedrooms and the top master bedroom. Cades Cove master has a king size bed, tv, sitting area, double sliding doors at the front of the lodge and shares the same views as the main living offers.
Swim spa pool
The Cloud 9 Lodge has recently added its own private swim spa pool and it is covered so it may be enjoyed regardless of weather conditions. On sunny days, soak in the rays on the open sundeck and take in the gorgeous views of the rolling Smoky Mountains for miles. Or opt for the covered patio areas downstairs that feature cushioned seating, loungers, and ottomans. There are also multiple balconies, covered and uncovered, with seating, so everyone can find a place to relax and reconnect with nature without feeling too cramped
Free Access to All the Clubhouses
Chalet Village Community Clubhouses
The Community starts at the Gatlinburg visitor's center and continues the entire length of the Gatlinburg main parkway until the end at the last red light (Ski Mnt Rd) before entering into the national park.
The North Clubhouse consists of three swimming pools, two tennis courts, basketball and two pickle-ball courts, ping-pong and other outside games
The South Clubhouse offers a newly remodeled workout facility, an indoor kids game room with pool table, air hockey, electronic games, tennis court, playground area and an extra large pool with a diving board and a much loved slide.
Alpine Clubhouse is the small clubhouse. The pool is smaller and offers a mushroom waterfall feature the younger children enjoy playing in and under. The facility has some electronic games and ping pong table.
Weddings
The Cloud 9 Lodge has been a wedding destination for years. The stunning mountain views, easily accessible location and numerous amenities makes it a perfect wedding venue.
The wedding ceremony venue located outside the lodge, is specifically designed for weddings on stained concrete with a center aisle, leading up to a large oval arch overlooking the mountains. It has large boulders along the side with stacking rock walls of landscaping.
The reception venue is located next door at the north chalet clubhouse. The clubhouse includes 12 round tables, 4 six-foot tables, 2 eight-foot tables and 45 chairs, 12 black linens for the circle tables, 4 black linens for 6ft tables, 2 black linens for 8ft tables, 45 gold chargers, 45 gold napkin rings, 45 white dinner plates, 45 white coffee cups, 45 glass water goblets, and 45 glass salad plates. Two backdrops, one solid black with gold script "happily ever after" (normally displayed behind bride/ groom table at reception) the other soft floral arch for family & friends photo op. Another great photo op is an original Gatlinburg ski lift chair with mountain views behind it, located outside the clubhouse. The reception is held upstairs, the back wall is completely glass and half of the right side wall is glass that is surrounded with stunning mountain views. There is a deck located off the back wall thais the length of the clubhouse. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. It has an opening for serving and/or a bar serving area. There are other items available; large ice machine, dual coffee maker, four chafing dishes and two glass liquid dispensers.
All of this for a $3,000 fee.
A four night minimum stay is required, excluding the $3,000 fee. There are other cabins close by that can be rented separately for additional guests, if needed.
