This was a great area! Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg! It was snowing when we went so there was stuff shut down, but we still had a blast! The room was clean and we had a beautiful view off the balcony! Would definitely stay here again!

January get-away
The motel is older, but car could be right at room. River is right out balcony. “Fireplace” is a heater in the wall. January was very cold, thin blankets. No hand soap until 2nd day. Dispensers in shower gave tiny amounts. Hot water, great! Bed and pillows, great! Hot tub ran only 1st day. Fire pit, OK. Frig, microwave, space in room good. Hooks, not closet rack. Hot eggs/sausage/waffles/gravy good.

Gatlinburg Creekside Stay
I specifically planned our stay here for the balcony. The balcony is facing the creek and the roar of the water is very wonderful. I was very disappointed that it is not disclosed on booking that there is no smoking on the balcony. It was extremely cold and windy and the only smoking area is a fire pit area on the creek which was like a punishment in the brutal weather. The continental breakfast is a hard pass. The sausage didn't even taste like sausage and the waffle batter and eggs etc were tasteless. They don't tell you, but the coffee machine is always on which is a godsend when you're an early riser and everything is closed. Bathroom does not come equipped with hand soap they have dispensers in the shower that don't work and look very dirty. There was mold on the ceiling of the shower. I coughed and hacked the entire time I was in the room even with antihistamines because of potential mold in the walls. This of course is just my guess because I was looking all around trying to find out the cause of my coughing and nose running. The beds aren't great but they are decent. Request extra blankets because they use thin waffle knit blankets and there is a serious draft around the balcony door. Definitely need to do some improvements and start with weather stripping to keep the draft out of the room. Also it's pretty suspect when you don't allow photos to be uploaded on this review.

The river view was fantastic, the staff is nice, and we appreciated the hotel's proximity to everything around it, but I wouldn't stay here again. We paid $700 for two nights, so we were expecting a very nice space, but that isn't what we received. Both the hotel itself and our room were VERY outdated. The blankets were paper thin, the HVAC system was very loud and didn't work properly, so the room was very cold. The hot tub had leaves and dirt in it. Aside from the river view and the convenient location, nothing about this place screamed "I should go back."

The stay was definitely worth the money. The entrance could use a bit of a makeover, but the room was bright, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was spotless. Plus, the room had a microwave and a fridge, which was super convenient. I'd suggest brightening up the reception area with some natural light and fixing a few things in the bathroom. That would really elevate the experience.

Not a property I would go back at any any price. This was a last minute booking due to other properties being unavailable, all about it is cheap and low quality from the room to the complementary breakfast. The lobby is dirty, the bed there were no blankets, the beds were noisy and the corridor smelly. I am not sure how this place got a good rating from others.

No hot water
The hotel definitely needs some upgrades which would've been fine. The issue was our room had no hot water. When we complained to the front desk they explained they've already let someone know our room didn't have hot water. We should've been informed at check in. We were then told if we needed hot water go to a different hotel. I've never in my entire life had to leave a hotel early but couldn't just leave and find another hotel in Gatlinburg the week of Christmas so came home. They didn't charge us for the night we didn't stay but only gave 25% off for the night we had cold showers.
