Do Not Rent! Or Rent from this Company (Gatlinburg Falls)

So many issues!! First, they did not send the check-in information until 4:00 on the day of the reservation. I have never dealt with this before. Most homeowners send the day before. As soon as we walked in, we noticed a horrible smell. We later discovered it was coming from a wet spot in the master bedroom (possibly mold or mildew). The kitchen did not have enough silverware for our family of 5. The dryer would only run for 10-15 minutes at a time. Also, half of the lightbulbs in the house needed to be replaced and the downstairs shower was clogged with hair and would fill when we showered. Disgusting! All of these issues were reported to the management company, but they did nothing. I contacted the rental company, and they would always say the right things but never send anyone out. We had to go to the grocery store to buy things to help with the odor and some plastic utensils. I requested a partial refund. While we were staying there, they said they would deal with that at the end of our trip in case anything else went wrong. After we checked out, they then ignored my texts about the refund. I would not recommend any of the homes run by Cabins of the Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg Falls. They clearly do not care about the maintenance of their properties.

Good for kids but NOT PRIVATE at all

Tons of spiders and webs on both porches. Carpet picked. I mean for the money we probably got what we paid for. I just wanted to take my husband for a nice weekend getaway and even the bedroom didnt feel private. Neighbors could see in where the hottubarea was

Run. Unsanitary. Nightmare. Don't waste your money!

Unfortunately, I went against my better judgement and booked Cabins of The Smoky Mountains, Magic Moments. There were no lights in the kitchen or dining room. There was an electrical issue that could only be resolved by an electrician, per their service technician that came out. We did not have lights in those two rooms the entire stay. I woke up Saturday morning and when brushing my teeth there was no cold water in the bathroom, not a drip would come out, only scalding water. I had to finish brushing my teeth in the kitchen sink. We had to open the refrigerator for light to wash dishes and use the microwave, ridiculous. To compound matters, returning to the bedroom, the covers were down I noticed the sheets were stained with blood, feces, furniture polish or, some other unsavory substance along with a used band-aid stuck to the headboard. I wanted to die. It was my 5-year-old daughter’s birthday we were tired from the drive and staying up late so I called and asked for an update on the lights and let them know about the sheets that needed to be thrown away, band-aid, no water and requested they put more water in the hot tub. There was so little water in the hot tub we all had to get in for the water to rise enough to turn on the jets! I let them know we would be gone for hours on Saturday so no rush, just please get this fixed. NOT at thing was done when we returned 7-hours later! Ran out of characters to tell the rest, It was a nightmare! I have photos, facts!

First time in Gatlinburg

Great location. We really enjoyed the game room. The down part was that the cabin wasn’t completely cleaned when we arrived and the fan upstairs in the game room wasn’t strong enough to keep the cool air flowing. So it would get stuffy when everyone was upstairs playing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

My family of 5- 3 of which are little kids- had the absolute best time! The cabin had been so well maintained; everything worked and was clean. Only a couple hair wads but that’s expected with a rental. We plan to revisit this exact cabin in the future.

Weekend Getaway

Very nice cabin with most amenities of home. Close to both Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. It’s crazy crowded so allow extra time to reach your destination.

WORKED FOR WHAT WE NEEDED

Overall the property was great. It is in a resort community and I didn't expect that but that could be my error as I was in a rush to book a place after our first cabin was cancelled by the owner. We were disappointed because one of our #1 items on our wish list was a hot tub, and unfortunately ours did not work. We were notified before our stay that it was not working and that repairs might be made during out stay, but that didn't happen so we were unable to use the hot tub. Overall the cabin worked for us just not everything we had hoped for.
