This stone cottage boasts privacy & seclusion with a quiet country setting, yet its very close to the lakes & rivers for your outdoor adventures. It has 2 inviting bedrooms with tremendous charm. Each bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep for our guests. The cozy living room offers additional space with 1 sofa bed, and a futon in the game room, perfect for relaxation or accommodating extra friends with a place for the kids to play. You'll find all the necessary amenities like heat and AC. The bathroom is well-appointed with a hair dryer as well. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your stay one to remember. Excellent location for fishing, boating or exploring Bull Shoals Lake, Norfork Lake, and the White River. A quick 10 minute drive to Mountain Home for all of your shopping & restaurant needs. Plenty of parking space for boats or trailers next to the cottage. Cell service is limited & spotty based on your carrier. Wi-Fi, board games, card games, foosball table, DVD player, and propane fire pit available for use.

The following may not be everyone's experience at this location, but it was ours. My friend, my dog arrived for our stay about 4pm. As soon as we turned into the property, it felt weird. We unpacked and went inside, but couldn't shake the feeling. Neither one of us wanted to be in the rooms alone. It was mostly clean with a few exceptions: the kitchen window was caked in dirt which had some wiped out sections to see through. The outside of the white fridge and handle was visibly dirty. The bed sheets we pulled back had a discoloration and there was a long black hair between the sheets. There was a mild mildewy odor which was more prominent in one of the bedrooms, which the dog would not enter. As now noted in the listing, there is no wifi yet and we had little to zero cell signal with Verizon, which made being remote more uncomfortable. There is no central A/C but there are window units and a plug-in unit which did seem to keep the house cool. We considered sleeping all together in the living room so we wouldnt have to separate, but noticed the middle privacy blinds appeared broken so we didnt want to try and lower it. We considered sleeping in our vehicle so that we wouldn't have to stay in the house. When we took the dog out to potty, she wanted to get back in the car rather than go back inside. After about 45 min, even with no refunds, we decided we needed to find someplace else. We quickly straightened up, packed up and left. We msg'd the pm. Did not hear back.

Quiet and secluded
Quiet and clean....nice countryside. Location was convenient. Everything was good, but we couldn't figure out the WiFi situation and cell signal is marginal.
