Old and outdated.Old carpet smelled of mildew.Terrible place to stay,and over priced.I cold have saved $25.00 if I booked through the hotel.We we very disappointed.Over priced by $100.00 Never recommend it to anyone!!!

There are a lot areas around to offer different options for eating. The staff are friendly there is someone at the front desk 24/7. The rooms are clean and spacious. My husband and I were very happy with everything. Thank you

The hotel was ok, not splendid, but not bad. On a hot, muggy day, I appreciated the housekeeper leaving the air conditioning on full. The included buffet breakfast offered scrambled eggs, 3 types of breakfast meat and toast. Servers seated guests and brought them drinks: coffee, tea, juice and water. They replenished them all. Usefully, they left a carafe on the table with a couple of cups of coffee in it. Parking might be a bit troublesome. I arrived at quarter to four and got the last space in the front lot. From my window at the back, I saw numbered parking stalls. Perhaps they belonged to the hotel. The hotel is directly across the road from a large mall with a supermarket, Canadian Tire and Mcdonald's, among other stores. The hotel takes dogs. When I was checking out, a woman with a dog was waiting for a housekeeper to check her room for dog damage before her party could check out. I would stay here again unless I could find a better deal at another similar hotel in Gander.

Rooms are old and dated with stained, torn bedding. Even with an updated shower, grout is not maintained. When I went to pull down the sheets, it was obvious they had not been changed. They were wrinkled with black hairs throughout. Staff did change our room for us as housekeeping was not available but it was a frustrating process. Also, rooms were quite expensive.

We loved having the restaurant on site, the dinner meal was amazing! However the incl. breakfast buffet was just okay…I actually had to take a closer look at the bland greyish scrambled eggs to make sure they were eggs. More fruit choices would have been nice also.
