The floors were dirty and clearly needed to be actually mopped. The tub was not particularly clean either. I did report upon check out and front desk did say that "Swiffers don't really do the job", and she would address with housekeeping. Couch needs to be cleaned or replaced.

As someone with very low standards, it takes a lot for me to be dissatisfied with cheap motels but this place was disgusting. There were stains on the bed skirt, dead bloody mosquitos smashed into the wall, and in the morning when I went to eat my leftovers from dinner the night before, there were dozens of ants inside the box all over my food which makes me curious how they got into the room in the first place. The shower had stains on the bottom of the tub and there was also a chair in the room that was covered in stains. Additionally, despite having my do not disturb sign on the door, two people tried to come in to change the garbage and the towels. I would absolutely never stay here again. I’d rather sleep in my car.

No major complaints. Felt like staying at a reasonable facility. Nothing really special or anything that stood out. Bathroom fan could have used a cleaning as it had minimal air suction/extraction.

We expected more from the resort given the name Riviera. Room was ok, although an ice bucket was provided, however no ice machine in sight. Only 2 chairs were provided on the upper level. The restaurant signage indicated open for breakfast, yet posted hours stated it opened around 4 pm. The restaurant was NOT opened at all during our stay as according to the hotel staff, the cook was sick. Staff were pleasant.

This inn was overall good but why not excellent? It was pricy compared to the quality! We paid over $300 for a night which you pay this amount or a little bit more for a 5 star. Cleanliness was moderate. The inside was renovated but it still looks old. I think the outside needs a major renovation. When my children looked outside while we were approaching they said they didn't want to come in! However, inside the room was much better. There were mosquIt was inside the room although we could smell that the cleaning staff used bug spray before we entered. The staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast was good.

A very nice motel in Gananoque. Two levels with all rooms exiting to the outdoors. No elevator. Very convenient parking. Nice restaurant onsite with a very good complimentary breakfast. Very pleasant staff.

Property was dated. No upgrades or fixing. Our telephone and blind didnt work and when communicated to front desk we just got an 'ok'. No resolution suggested. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, nice stay but definitely could use some TLC.

That our room was beside the pool. This was one of the few things ok with this place. Had a very rude woman our first and last breakfast. This woman could have been the manager. The young man working in the dining room worked hard. But was very intimidated by this woman. She was terribly rude. We did not go back the second morning. The room was very dated and lots of stuff not looking clean. The bed was very comfortable. (Another plus) the fridge was a good size. But for the money we spent on the room. It was not worth it!!!! We will never be back.
