March Break
Nice vacation spot. Beach is private since you can't drive on the beach in that area. Kids enjoyed playing on the beach and looking for crabs at night with flashlights.

Wonderful Spring Break
This house was perfect for our family of 5, although there are plenty of beds for bigger families! The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathrooms had extra TP. The views are lovely, we had lots of wind and rain but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the balconies and the beach. We even spent some time on the porch swing. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Beautiful beach retreat
The house is just feet from the beach. It is well equipped with beach toys and games for the kids. The host provided special touches that made us feel welcome and at home. It is our second time to stay at this property and we are already hoping to be back next year.

Fantastic location and set up
This house has it all in terms of fully stocked kitchen and excellent location just steps from the beach. There were a couple of issues related to cleanliness when we arrived, but management made it right. I would stay here again - being able to take a walk on the beach any time day or night is a huge plus. One suggestion is to put a curtain or shade on the window in the trundle room (looks like something has been there in the past but has fallen down?) because the sun comes up and shines directly in there in the morning. The master bedroom door is warped and does not remain closed, but i think that can be easily adjusted. Just a few tweaks and this is easily a 5 star stay. We look forward to coming back to see how it's improved upon.

Relaxing Family Vacation

It was spacious, clean, and the location was perfect, making it convenient for us to walk to the beach. My family and I had the best time! I stayed at the Krusty Krab 4th of July 2023 weekend. House was very nice, with great views of the beach. Even though its a second row house, it feels like first row. Check in and out process was very each with great communication from owner. We would definitely stay here again.

Ideal location
All the adults rate it the best property we have stayed at on the beach. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Short walk to the beach and a good view of the gulf water from the decks and front windows. Very well equipped. Only needed to bring our food and clothes. Great people to deal with. Bernadette responded quickly to any questions I had. The five kids ( ages 5 to 10) had a great time.

The first day we arrived, Bernadette was nice enough to let us check in an hour early. We tried to go to the beach, but the mosquitoes wouldn't let us out of the door. We looked around for bug spray, but didn't find any. We put that on the list of things to get at the store. That night we were getting ready for bed. My son asked me why there were ants all over the bed. Sure enough, ants! They were crawling on the ceiling and dropping onto the bed. They swarmed the master bedroom, the stairwell and the other upstairs room. We moved all of our stuff back downstairs and sent a text to Bernadette. She was very apologetic. She said that her brother had experienced the same thing at his house in Houston the week before. I took a picture of 2 of the ants to show her what kind they were. My kids were freaked out! This was not how we wanted to spend a relaxing vacation! Next day, we couldn't wait to get out of the house! We went to the water park to get away. No beach towels, so we added that to the list. When we got home, I was going to do a load of laundry. No detergent. Add it to the list. That evening, we waited for the ants to return. Every couple of minutes, my kids would run up the stairs to look. We were on pins and needles. No ants that night. I requested a refund of one night from the management company. I sent the pictures that I took of the ants. After about 2 weeks, they said they couldn't refund any money due to "Insufficient evidence".

Great vacation spot! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't as nice!
We had a great time at the at the rental! It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner Bernadette was great to work with and took care of some minor issues. We would go back in a minute! We're looking forward to our next trip to Galvaston.

Our experience was outstanding. The communication was fantastic and they went out of their way to add special touches to ensure we had a great experience for a an early family Christmas. The property is a little far from Galveston but the views and the beach were beautiful. We would come back again to this property.

Our new favorite!
We come to Galveston every year for Thanksgiving, and this is our new favorite house! Would love to return again next year. Clean, updated, decorated cute and modern. Very very kid friendly, had tons of kitchen supplies that made it easy to cook Thanksgiving dinner! Not first row on the beach, but you still have a great view and easy walk. Communication was great before our trip, absolutely zero complaints. We all loved it, thanks for sharing your home!

Wonderful 2nd row beach house
We loved staying at the Alvarado’s beach house. The house was outfitted with everything we needed and more. We cooked most of our meals at the house and it was nicely appointed with all the must have utensils and pans needed. The location was perfect as it was quiet and on the beach. We were able to come and go to the beach as often as we wanted without making a big production to get down there. The owners were very attentive and responsive. I highly recommend renting this house if you are planning to stay in Galveston and want to get away from the crowds for some quiet relaxation. The west end is very close for off roading in the sand dunes and there is a grocery store nearby. There is also a great restaurant called Nate’s down the road with great portions and good food. We checked out the marina for the subdivision and it was very nice and convenient if you plan on bringing your boat with you.

Perfect week with our family, the weather was great, the water was clear and beautiful. Our kids absolutely loved this house, the sunrises and sunsets were amazing from the deck. The house had everything we needed, the outdoor shower was great so we didn’t track too much sand in the house. Loved waking up to the sunrise through the master room door every morning. Community is awesome and we hope to stay here again in the future! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

First Family Beach Gathering
The ability to walk to the beach was crucial. Our 94 year old mother was even able to walk it . Be aware there is another house in front of this one , so note quite unobstructed view of beach .
