The Space:
Come out and enjoy a brand new beachfront house in Sea Isle.  

Catch your breath and put your pups up at The Salty Dog! Brought to you by Best of the West, this beachfront home in Sea Isle will not disappoint as you witness the breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico.  This home is located right on the beach.  Just walk downstairs and right out into the water.

The Salty Dog is perfect for your group or family, offering 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a fabulous open floor plan.  Located in the fabulous Sea Isle subdivision and right on the beach. The primary bedroom has king size bed with an ensuite bathroom, the 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed, the 3rd and 4th bedrooms each have two twin bunk beds. On the beachfront deck find lounge chairs and a large table, all overlooking the beach.  For your pleasure and fun on the ground level, you will find a bbq grill, picnic table, hammocks, and outdoor shower to rinse off after your visit to the beach. To make sure your feet stay clean, a foot-washing station is located on the upper deck.

Inside The Salty Dog, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, TVs in all of the bedrooms and living room, and high-speed internet with WIFI.  There are both a drip coffee maker and a k-cup style coffee maker.

When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, toiletries, sunscreen, food, and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee (grinds and k-cups), creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, and first aid kit.

Guest Access:
You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Sea Isle is a great west-end subdivision in Galveston, TX.  Come enjoy the fishing pier*, boat launch**, pool***, and tennis courts.  Additionally, the marina at Sea Isle offers a downstairs Tiki Bar, upstairs restaurant, convenience store, and bait shop.

***Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day (Sea Isle charges $100/week/property for the pool pass.  This is paid directly to the HOA.)

Getting Around:
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the new Pleasure Pier, and all the other great attractions of Galveston.

Other Things to Note:
Primary Renter must be at least 25 years old.  No prom parties, graduation parties, or other large gatherings.  Quiet hours in Sea Isle are 10 pm to 8 am.

Perfect by the beach
The house was great for us, we had to sets of parents and several kids that stayed. The house was perfect - bunk room for boys and bunk room for girls. The kitchen was big enough to cook for everyone and table was nice and big as well. Beds were comfy, balcony was so perfect with chaos, and location on the beach ... can't be beat. The kids loved the skim board, boogie boards, and sand toss as well. We'll be back!

Thank you for this treasure of a beach house. It was perfect for the 10 of us. Plenty of gathering space, rooms were just right for the grandkids. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils, spices etc.. Beach was just right there, and we loved our time here. Looking forward to returning.

Perfect Beachfront Getaway
We get together with cousins at a beach house every year and this house has been our favorite so far! Really efficiently laid out for two families, and you really cannot beat being 10 steps from the beach! Everyone wants to come back to this house next year!

Loved the location of the house, easy access to beach. Accross the street is a great marina/bar and down the road about 4 miles you will find a great mexican restaurant! House was clean - only thing I would be aware of is the first guest bedroom has the vent from dryer going into closet, really heating the room up. Other than that, was a great experience!

There were three adults, five teenagers and a six year old in our group. Everyone loved the house. It was super clean, easy to get to, wonderful location on the beach and had everything we needed. The door took us a minute to figure out (because it’s new and amazing lol) and the parking was a little confusing at first (since the notes said not to park under the house) but all in all, we loved our beach vacation and this house was a huge part of the reason why.

Surf fishing right in front of property was amazing... hooked some hardheads, croakers, a stingray and a bull redfish using dead shrimp and shad. Property had everything we needed to eat, sleep and entertain ourselves. Host was very personalble and attentive... thank you James 😊

Great House Right on the Beach!
We spent 4 nights at the Salty Dog recently and had a wonderful time. The house is even nicer inside than the photos show. A very comfortable living area, comfortable beds in the bedrooms, good showers, well equipped kitchen, everything looks either new or recently updated. There are a lot of boogie boards and beach toys below the house for guests, and they also provide beach towels, which is nice. We liked being west of Jamaica Beach. It’s a quiet area, not near as busy and crowded as Galveston, just a nice area with clean beaches. If you need a 4 bedroom house right on the beach, this is it! We highly recommend it and will definitely come again!

The house and location are wonderful. Right on the beach just like the listing says. We had a great time!! But the most praise goes to James, the property manager! He was extremely helpful and communicative!! He even went out of his way to get our forgotten stuffed animal, who is very loved, back to us in time for Christmas. Thank you for everything!!!

Great home; beautiful view
What a beautiful view with the ocean; easy to find. We appreciated the paper products (paper towels, toilet paper.) The kitchen was equipped pretty well; pots and pans and utensils were a little slim. Could use more for large meals. Only one dish towel and kitchen washrag was provided. The dryer wasn't drying but the property manager was prompt to fix it. The bunk beds were very sturdy (you couldn't feel the person above/below you.) Some of the pillows didn't have pillow cases on them. The pictures of the inside of the home make it look much bigger than it is. Overall a Great stay! I would definitely recommend it.

Great location for beach fun
Our party of 12 (two families with kids ages one to 12) enjoyed our time at the beach while staying at this property. It is right on the beach. There was no crowd and plenty of nice sand to play in. The house came with plenty of sand toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, and the showers hot. The kitchen was adequately stocked, though we would have liked a larger pot and some additional kid-friendly (plastic) dishes. Both the master and the other non-bunk room accommodated pack n plays. The kids enjoyed the two bunk rooms. We would recommend the property.

This is a great home just steps from the beach. We had family in from Pittsburgh and they absolutely loved we were directly on the beach. The owner was quick to answer questions. We would be happy to rent this home again.
