House is 10 yards from the beach and 30 yards from the water's edge depending on the tide. First floor offering 3 sets of french doors leading to outdoor deck- deck swing, dining and sun bathing along with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Second floor upstairs has private master's suite with another set of french doors leading to the deck with a porch swing , a great view, the roar of the surf and sunbathing as well. Decorated and equipped with all you need, Take It Easy will become your favorite vacation get away!!! Don't miss your chance, Book Now!!! Sleeping 13 there’s three bedrooms and a twin loft. 2 Bedrooms downstairs- FIRST BEDROOM- QUEEN BEDROOM has an electric fireplace and a twin pullout sleeper, SECOND BEDROOM- Fun full size bunk with full futon. MASTER BEDROOM UPSTAIRS with king and private bath. Outside master on the second level is small open loft off stairway landing with twin bed and chest of drawers. Even though the area is open this area is considered a small bedroom. There is also a twin roll-a-way bed.

Living area, queen room and master bedroom have flat screen TV's Downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The master bath upstairs is very roomy and has a walk-in shower. Washer and dryer are conveniently located in downstairs bathroom enclosed with bifold doors.

The home is decorated with a personal touch with a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

The dining room seats 6 and 5 bar stools provide comfortable seating to enjoy the finest fresh gulf seafood available daily or dine outside on the deck while listening to the waves and gulf breeze. A great place for friends and family to gather.

Outside downstairs around the garage is ample parking for four with some of that being covered. Concreted, it is large enough for outdoor fun with outdoor shower and grill for your enjoyment just steps away from the beach and the waves.

Take It Easy is a non-smoking home with no pets allowed. Grilling is only allowed on the ground level in keeping with GALVESTON CITY ORDINANCE PROHIBITING GRILLING ON DECKS.

Pelican Lane Stay

We love the location of this property. We were able to check in early. New updates are great. The new stove had a burner that did not work and we love to cook. The grill was old,moldy and rusted so we bought a cheap one to grill.Those were the reasons for a good verses excellant rating.The house is well stocked for cooking.Working with the property management was easy. This was ours second Spring Break stay here.

Fabulous location and plenty of room

Great house steps to the beach

This house was great for our family! Very cozy and just steps to the beach. We didn’t have any internet but considering it was approximately two weeks after hurricane Beryl, I believe it was an outage issue for many. They had a dvd player and some dvds but unfortunately we never found the remote, was glad they had some games and books to help with the quiet times. We did end up leaving a day early because the weather was horrible and having no internet left us with bored kids and nothing else to do. No fault of the owners! I do recommend this house and wouldn’t mind trying it again in the future.

Great house on the beach!

We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids, and this house was perfect for us. It was extremely clean. We loved the decks, especially the main one downstairs. We spent a lot of time out there! Proximity to the beach was excellent. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals, and I appreciated that laundry detergent was provided! We did need to put sheets on the bunk beds, but I that seems to be standard for most cleaning companies in Galveston. The only surprise was that the bedroom downstairs (not the bunk room) does not have a queen bed as described in the listing--it is a double/full, but we made it work.

Great Location

This location is optimal as far as beach access and views. We have stayed here on multiple trips and have enjoyed our stay every time we visit. There were a couple of minor repair issues that needed to be addressed during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and helpful. We did have to make up the beds ourselves in the 3rd bedroom and stairwell upon arrival. Minimal paper products and laundry detergent were made available—we did have to purchase more of those. Overall, this is a family favorite that we hope to return to!

Steps from the Beach!

Great house and neighborhood at Pirates Beach! Older home but very adequate! Being steps from the beach was very convenient with lugging all our beach attire! Love the ocean views from either side of the house! Plenty of sleeping space for our family of 8!

Spring Break 2024

We rented this property for 8 days. Location is great. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of room for the family. We take the family to Galveston for spring break every year for the last 11 years, and this house is our favorite! We would defiantly rent this house again.

Galveston Thanksgiving House

We liked the house and certainly the location--both distance from beach and from Galveston. Actually, it was not optimal for 9 adults, but we new this in advance the bunk bed arrangement was not great for the 4 adult children and the 4th "bedroom"/nook was a bit of a surprise. The kitchen appliances were modern and good. However to our surprise--and probably the owner's, there was not a functional can opener. The key box was difficult to open as was the door knob lock. Marsha was very helpful.

Great family getaway

Right on the sand to watch the kids at the beach, shaded deck areas for both morning and evening shade, lots of space for the whole family and a superbly stocked kitchen. This is our second stay and plan on returning again!

Take it Easy on Pirates Beach

We have stayed in this house for the 14th time and keep coming back year after year. The house is so close to the beach and so comfortable . We enjoy all the views from all rooms and enjoy staying in such a beautiful beach house. All you have to do is Take It Easy!!!!!! The Ozymys
