This beautiful 2-bedroom condo will comfortably sleep 8 guests with a king bed in the master, 2 pyramid bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa. You'll enjoy amazing balcony views of the bay with some of the best sunset views on the island.


Whether you're making a big breakfast, prepping snacks or cooking a special dinner after a day at the beach, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, and utensils, and has everything you'll need, including a regular coffee maker and dishwasher. Relax and watch cable TV in the living room and bedrooms. Linens, bath towels, and Wi-Fi are included in your stay.


Pack your snacks and beverages and take a quick walk to the Sunset pool with a lazy river, tanning shelf, hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit. Cross the street to enjoy a day at Pointe West Beach Club, with an Infinity pool/spa, bar and restaurant, boutique, game room, bike rental, fitness center, and a lot more.

Beach Club wristbands are $25 per person. Children 4 and younger are free. Use of The Beach Club is optional, but highly recommended. 


Wristbands are issued to guests at the Beach Club office.


PLEASE NOTE: Two-bedroom condos can only be issued 6 wristbands. Children 4 and younger do not require wristbands. The elevators at ALL Pointe West condos can be temperamental and we cannot guarantee their functionality during your stay.

Pelican Pointe is located at Pointe West Resort, one of Galveston Island's favorite retreats. The 1,000-acre property is located on the last 3 and 1/2 miles of the west end of the island. The community caters to all, from tourists to weekenders to families. Nice relaxing stay
We very much enjoyed our stay. You will have to drive(very short drive), rent a golf cart or walk a ways if you want to enjoy the pools, wristbands to enjoy the amenities cost $25 per person and the beach is across the road, but I so enjoyed this space. It was quiet, and beautiful, about 30 minutes out of town away from all the hustle and bustle. Def want to book this space again in the future! There is also Plenty of room for extra guests, next time I plan to bring the kids with us!!

The condo has everything you need except a sometime working elevator. When we arrived the elevator was not working. So once you book you get information on condo which talks about issues with the elevator. So I called all the people I was supposed to. But since it was a Saturday there are no repairs until the week day. Once I spoke to someone at the condo office they told me they have a order out along with some other buildings and they will get to it when they can. MIND YOU THIS IS THE TOP FLOOR. YOU WILL HAVE TO CARRY LUGGAGE AND GROCERIES UP 4 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. They lady at the condo said the ad should have posted if you can't use stairs do not rent because it is a known issue and it will happen. BEWARE.

Were in the area for a music festival and the condo was perfect for our stay! It was a minute drive to the festival and such an easy check in process. All the directions and property description were perfectly clear making it so easy to get in and out! Would stay here again!!

Overall it was a good place, but the elevator was not working the first two days. It was a real inconvenience since we were on the third floor. Make sure you bring food to cook breakfeast. Restaurants around the area will not open until 11am, including the beach club restaurant. The beach is very secluded away from all the commotion, which is what we were looking for. We didnt like that we had to drive to the beach club and then walk a long way to get to the beach. Luckily we brough a wagon. With a baby it was a very hard task to acomplish. Overall, we would come again, but definitely stay in one of the buildings next to the beach club.

Great property and very clean. The resort was clean, quiet, and very family friendly. Our condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The resort is in the south end of the island so getting places required 30 min each way. Was fine for my family as we stocked up and didn’t need to leave often. Was a good set up for quiet family time.

UNSAFE PROPERTY
BEWARE! This property was not safe and the property managers were difficult to reach and did not respond to concerns. The building lights did not work and neither did the elevator. This unit is located on the 4th floor and so we had to navigate 4 flights of stairs with 2 small kids and an infant at night plus bring all our luggage up the stairs. It was so difficult to do in the dark and was so unsafe, we ended up leaving luggage and groceries in the car because it wasn't worth us falling down the stairs at night. We called several after hours number and even called and emailed during the day. The only response we received is that the elevator has been broken and won't be fixed anytime soon because they needed to order a new part. The security guard told us that there is a known electrical issue with the building and the lights rarely work and he's reported it as unsafe many times. Save yourself the inconvenience and safety hazard of staying in this property. Book anywhere else!!!

So very relaxing!
We were blown away. Sean was very communicative, and the property was perfect. Comfy bed, nice furniture, and a well-appointed kitchen. I will say though if you are going to boil crabs or shrimp you need to bring a large stock pot if you have one, but that's no big deal. We had everything else we could have possibly needed. We are definitely going back next June!

Very cute, very clean property with beautiful views
We enjoyed our stay and will book again. We had some issues with the TV remotes, but that was most likely a user mistake. The house was beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was perfect and the two pools and restaurant added to our stay.

5 Day Galveston vacay
We stayed for about 5 days in 2021. The unit is well furnished with everything we needed (and more). It was just my partner and I, so we did not need the second bedroom--but it was a nice touch. We especially appreciated the outdoor furniture and ring-toss game.

Great unit- Dog hair problem
Overall the unit was described accurately and was very nicely decorated. Beds super comfortable and all necessary kitchen appliances were in stock. Owner even provided paper plates/ bowls/ cups and ice. Nice first aid kit and great assortment of games. The patio lights added a nice touch to the evening hours and we liked that they had beach chairs available for use. The wagon that was provided really helped with loading and unloading. DOG HAIR WAS A HUGE PROBLEM!!! Whoever had this unit before us had a dog that shed everywhere. We contacted the management company and were told “we will make a note”- they didn’t even offer to send someone to vacuum or bring us a vacuum so we could do it ourselves. The vacuum in the unit had a broken belt (which we told the owner/ property manager) so nothing was able to be sucked up/cleaned. Dog hair was everywhere, on rugs, under beds, under sofas and stuck to living room pillows. This problem really took away from my rating on this unit- an easy fix. The person who “cleaned” this unit should’ve realized nothing was in the vacuum bin when they passed the vacuum. Microwave works but several buttons don’t function so it was slightly annoying when we needed to heat stuff up. It was in the 50’s at night and no extra blankets were provided.

Lovely Pointe West Condo
This is a very nice condo with two comfy sofas and comfy king size bed. Since on the bay side, it is just a short walk to the well maintained, car free beach. Private balcony has wonderful bay views for sunsets and bird watching. The resort grounds are well kept with walking paths around large fishing ponds. Also, the fitness center has all the necessary equipment for a good workout. We will definitely return to this condo. Kitchen could use a few improvements which I have mentioned to the owner but my main complaint (which has nothing to do with the condo) is the elevator. Stayed about a month and the elevator broke at least 5 times. If you cannot handle 4 flights of steps on the chance elevator is not working , this building would not work for you

We enjoyed our pelican point stay. The kitchen was nicely appointed and the bedrooms were comfortable. We especially liked the deck with patio furniture. The condo itself was on the quiet side of the island. The hot tub and pool were also very nice.

Comfortable accommodations and great concierge
The photos do not do this unit justice! Our patio overlooked Matagorda Bay and felt very private. No noise issues with neighbors despite this being a condo unit. The property management staff were beyond responsive and attended timely to each of questions and concerns. They did a fantastic job handling my reservation and stay. My son loved the bunk beds and the unit felt airy, bright, and comfortable. We will definately return.

Property was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Once the property manager was notified they immediately sent some one to clean. Disappointed that the property was not cleaned prior to our arrival given that we are still living in a COVID-19 world. Especially since we saw used masks laying around. The front door lock also was an issue for us. Sometimes it would work and other times it would not.Property manager did have someone come look at it but it was working when they arrived. This happened during another rental and documented in a review. Recommended to property manager to replace the front door lock.
