Overall okay
Overall the stay was okay, I had let the owners know we would be checking in late but I never received the check in information and they had said they would be sending it in the morning. Never received instructions so I had to text super late that evening. Then when we arrived we were not told the off street parking was super small we managed to fit but a heads up would be have great. It was freezing in the home, so had to figure out where heaters were or if they worked. The stove/oven wasn't working and the fridge was off and warm. When I texted the owners I did tell them not to worry about it but still frustrating when you come with food.As for location to pier it was great. There were issues on the street that the house was located on but that isn't something the owners can control. Overall it fit for our little family but not what we had in mind from the pictures.

Great experience
The property was perfect for my husband, me and our fur babies. The location was great and within walking distance of so many great places. The hosts responded quickly to any questions or needs we had. Overall a great experience. We would definitely stay here again.

The house itself could use some updates and there were some minor things that didn't work. Overall it's a nice house with a great location. The property owner was very quick to respond with any questions. I would for sure recommend it to a friend.

My husband and I loved staying at this adorable little home with our dog! Chill beachy decor, front porch, and small fenced yard filled with tropical plants were all perfect for us. Great location with short walk to the beach and longer but very doable walk to the strand! We were a little thrown off by a delayed checkin time and had to improvise a bit, but the owner was in frequent communication and all turned out fine. We really enjoy Galveston and had a lovely stay here! Thanks!

Loved this place. It was conveniently located near every place we needed to go. Very close walk to the seawall and pleasure pier. Each morning we went out for a run along the seawall. The property owner was very responsive to messages/questions.

Cute & Quirky Galveston
Good location in a quiet neighborhood, close to seawall and strand attractions. I enjoyed the small front porch with picnic table (bring mosquito repellant). Good water pressure and plenty of towel hooks, but no shelf space, in the bathroom. The ceiling fan/light operation was confusing - switches, remotes & pull strings. We were there in early December when you don't really need air conditioning or heat but a good fan is wonderful, so we probably adjusted it more than usual. The reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars for cleanliness was the kitchen - I had to clean the coffee pot and toaster before use and there were some bugs around the dishwasher. Overall, for beach accommodations this was good - fun decorations, plenty of space and easy to come and go from.

You owe it to yourself to check out this property. The owners are phenomenal and were extremely attentive. I enjoyed meeting some of the neighbors who welcomed me and my pets. The only negative I have regarding the whole trip related to the weather. This is the ideal location for a beach getaway.

Adorable and comfortable home close to everything! Didn't have to drive far to reach The Harbor The Strand, the beach was so close I could hear the waves at night. I felt safe and secure. I'd rent this property again!

Perfect little Galveston house
We had a great family stay at the traditional little Galveston house just a walk away from Murdoch’s, Pleasure Pier and the beach. Look forward to visiting again. Evan & Lala made sure we were having a great stay.
