Great place near the beach.
Our stay was wonderful. From the friendly staff to the comfy room and the nearby beach access. Would definitely stay here again and will look for other Red Roof hotels wherever I go.

Upon arrival, the elevator smelt of bed bug spray. When I got into my room, it smelt heavily of bed bug spray even though I checked I didn't find anything but after I got home, I have found bed bugs and my luggage they got out and I had to hire an exterminator.

The staff were very accommodating. I thought I was going to have to change rooms because of noise and they were willing to do so, no questions asked. This is an older property but the rooms are updated. I chose this place bc they don't charge extra for your pets. Plenty of parking, elevators, a luggage cart, washing machines, and ice machines are available. They have a few snacks available for in the lobby and they are relatively reasonably priced for a hotel. It's literally one block from the beach and where you cross the street, there is a gravel ramp to the beach which was perfect for my older dog. There are also a number of easily walkable restaurants and Pleasure Pier is about a mile away. You really can't get a better location. I suggest is bring quarters if you want to use the washers and extra towels for the beach/bathing your dog. The only things I wish the place had were door mats and maybe a small broom/dust pans for all of the sand, but it's the beach, you're going to get sand everywhere.
