Welcome to Market Street Loft C, a delightful vintage gem with lofted ceilings, loads of natural light, and a beautifully renovated kitchen. The bedroom features a king size bed and twin/twin bunk bed. A second twin/twin bunk bed is nestled off the main living space. Enjoy al fresco dining on the large balcony overlooking downtown. Whether you’re looking to spend time on The Strand, the beach, or a quick overnight before a cruise departure, this loft is the perfect home base for your trip.

Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal.

Beach Access: Less than a 5 minute drive to the beaches at the Seawall.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet Policy: One pet is welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: Free and paid street parking options on the streets surrounding the building.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

The main bedroom is nestled within this open space, featuring a luxurious king-sized bed and a fun twin bunk bed.. The modern bathroom is just off the main area, ensuring both convenience and privacy. The living room is perfect for lounging, with a comfortable sofa and a Smart TV for catching up on your favorite shows. Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen or gather around the dining table for a cozy meal together.

Market Street Loft C is ideally located in the heart of downtown Galveston, just a short walk from The Strand, where you'll find an array of unique shops, restaurants, and lively nightlife spots. It's also conveniently close to the Cruise Terminal, making it a great option for a pre- or post-cruise stay. And if you're longing for the beach, it's just a short drive away.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 4 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- There is paid parking directly in front of the building. To the side of the building is free street parking when spots are available.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Loft Stay
It was very convenient to the strand, so we could easily walk for food and shopping. Very cute place with lots of old features. They had everything you could possibly need except a dresser or somewhere to place your luggage instead of just within the closet. I do think the bedding could be upgraded, but overall it was a nice place to get away for a night.

Cozy and Stylish Loft with Amazing Location near The Strand
Our small family was very happy with our Thanksgiving weekend stay at the Market Street loft. The unit is unique, comfortable, and has all of the amenities we need. It's located in a great location with restaurants, coffee shops, and boutique stores and is a quick 10 minute walk to The Strand. We are looking forward to returning in a couple of months!

Perfect for us
We wanted a quick overnight stay in Galveston. It was small, but perfect for us, since we didn’t want to stay on the beach. The window unit was a little loud, but that was mostly a problem with our kids. We would definitely stay there again!

The property smelt old and musty. The toilet seat was loose and almost threw you off the toilet. The bathroom had black mold growing around the shower and along the moulding. There was a roach running across the wall. They also request that you take your trash out behind the building in the back alley when you leave. I felt that was a bit ridiculous. We immediately packed back up and left. There are cameras in the hallway that showed we left. I am still waiting on a reply for a refund of the room due to it’s unfit conditions.

The bathroom door has a loud squeaky noise. The rug is very stained. Rain dripped right by your face on the king bed. Because of this issues we were not able to rest well. Our stay was ok. The location is good.

Enjoyed the loft decor. Clean modern space in historic building. Great kitchen and bath. Bring your own bath amenities- not much included. AC works very well, but hard to control. Entry directions were good. The bunk beds are really for kids- very low entry for bottom bunk. Would return.

Great area!
The place was clean, kitchen is stocked with all the essentials needed to cook in and most importantly, the bed is comfortable. I think this would be a great place for a young group of friends to hang out at. The downfalls: Parking is confusing. 2 hour limit between 9-6. (No paid parking) We had to set our alarm to move the car and/or leave between those parking times. And... those stairs to the apartment is not fun for older people, more so carrying luggage and coolers. All in all, we would rent here again if the price is worth the parking hassles.

Great spot to crash prior to a cruise
This location was easy to get to and was the perfect accommodation for myself and 5 other friends. I have to give the listing 4/5 stars though, because upon check-in, we found the place had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Bed sheets were amess, and the floor bathroom was covered in towels. I brought this issue to the host and the host had cleaners sent within 20 minutes. The cleaners were quick and efficient - we just hung out on the balcony while they did their work. Many thanks to the host for the quick resolution on the issue.

We really enjoyed being downtown within walking distance of restaurants. The loft itself is decorated well, and was comfortable. We loved the balcony with lights at night, and had our morning coffee out there as well with a fun view of dowtown and some cruise ships at port.
