Family vacation Galveston 7/2022
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Having access to the garage was nice. It allowed us to store our fishing equipment and kayaks so they were out of site. The kids especially liked being able to borrow the skim board and boogie boards. Nonna especially enjoyed getting to listen to my old school mixed cd’s with stereo player in the house. Washer and dryer were lifesavers. Loved having the large shower and a bathtub for kids. The ice and water dispenser on fridge was a life saver. It helped to keep our littles hydrated. Some small cons they were not deal breakers but worth a side note. The garage and contents were a mess. Thrown in and covered in rat poop. The living room pull out bed is needing some tlc. The screws are missing and or loose. So the frame isn’t well attached. It hasn’t been being cleaning under it all. Air mattress in the closet has a slow leak. Sofa bed in the middle bedroom has a cushion that the zipper is completely ripped and not close able. Fridge in kitchen didn’t cool very well. Our milk never cooled very well. Would have been nice to have the ability to lock the garage once you’re items were in there. While the above are just to be noted definitely didn’t ruin or put a damper on our trip. A lift of some sort would have been amazing. As grand parents We struggled making multiple trips while loaded down with bags. We also had a family member have to stay behind and not enjoy vacation with us. He is 5 weeks out from knee replacement. A lift that he could have used to get up or down would have been amazing . We had a blast and thank you for allowing us to rent and have a family vacation.
