Amazing amazing amazing!!
This place is even better in real life than the photos. So relaxing right on the water. Tons of space for family to spread out and enjoy time together or space to sneak away for some quiet. The kayaks are a nice bonus and life jackets, fishing poles, and beach gear are also available. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood- enjoy the bay or take a 5 minute ride to the local beach. Such a wonderful gem!

Great for family gathering!
We loved this house. The location was great. It is away from the business of Galveston. We love being on the canal and enjoyed the beautiful deck with the house. The house has 1 bedroom with a queen on the first floor with a full bath, a master suite with a beautiful bathroom on the 2nd (main floor), 1 queen room on the third floor with its own bathroom, and then two additional bedrooms that share 1 full bathroom on the third floor. There is plenty of space in this home and it is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cups, plates, silverware, cooking stuff, etc… We enjoyed taking out the two kayaks in the canal.

Coastal at its best
We go on a annual kayaking trip with life long friends every year. This beach house has been our absolute favorite so far. It was clean, had good beds and was stocked with everything we needed except food. Perfect time had by all.

Perfect home
This was our 2nd time renting this spacious airy & beautiful home! We rent Jamaica Beach homes every summer/early fall, and this is our most favorite. I love how the owners pay special attention to every review, and they strive to make it better & better. Converting the 5th bedroom from a sofa bed to an actual bed, makes me love this place even more. I did mention that the upstairs bedrooms really need drapes, because it gets super bright & warm as soon as the sun rises. I am certain the drapes will happen soon! Looking forward to our next stay here with family again

Perfect getaway
I just LOVED this house and wish I could buy it! It is spacious and open, but also allows privacy if needed. Master suite is on main floor with a large bathroom. 3 additional bedrooms are upstairs with ample space and 2 restrooms. There is also an additional bedroom downstairs with it's own bathroom that was perfect for my 14 year old son and friend. Fabulous fishing from the dock. The house is situated in a private cove on the bay. Very peaceful! We did encounter sugar ants from leaving cookies out, but that is the norm from our stays in Galveston. There was plenty of cookware, towels, bedding, etc. We did run out of paper towels quickly and there were no additional in the cabinets. Other than that, we can't wait to go, again. We rent houses on the bayside quite often, and this one has been and will be a favorite.

This beach house was absolutely beautiful! The location is is perfect and quite. The layout of the house is great for family, very spacious and relaxing. Definitely would recommend staying here. Can’t wait to return.

Lovely house in a good location.
We normally stay on the beach when going to Galveston, but we chose a canal house this time and we enjoyed it very much. The house was very inviting and had 5 bedrooms to accommodate a large group. There was plenty of room inside and outside to enjoy the weekend. We enjoyed fishing off the back deck and using the kayaks. While the master bedroom had a very comfortable bed, the upstairs beds were very hard. All in all this was one of the nicer houses we have stayed in when going to Jamaica beach.

The perfect waterfront getaway
We have rented in Jamaica Beach and other communities nearby several times, but this house stands out as our new favorite. The owners have provided everything needed for your stay, whether your goal is fun-filled days or just kicking back staring at the water...or both. The interior has a bright and beachy feel, comfortable seating and beds, plenty of room...I can't say enough about it. We're looking forward to our next stay at this Jamaica Beach gem.

Unfortunately our stay was during impending Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hanna, which limited our beach time due to the storm surge - but you wouldn't have known any issue as the house was super spacious for our group of 12 (including small kids) with plenty of home entertainment options including kayaks, covered deck, etc.

Paradise on the Island
This house was perfect and very beautiful. From the time I arrived till the time I left we experienced no huge issues with the house. There where some minor drainage issues and toilets not flushing, but other than that we had nothing major. I enjoyed the set up and when I spoke to the owner she was very cordial and very nice. We enjoyed the stay and will reconsider in the future on staying again.

Great Stay
They made everything great, house was setup awesome for enjoying the weather and we had a blast while there. The only downside was that the boat lift was not operable while we were there so I had to leave my boat in the water.
