Ok for the price
The hotel itself was fine. The reception people were great. Breakfast was chaotic to say the least. Apparently all of their kitchen staff took vacations so they had someone working it who had never worked at their location before. Sparse choices and he wasnt sure when it closed so he kept telling everyone it was 9:30 when it was supposed to be 10. However, the layout of the breakfast area also created a pinch point so you couldn’t get a plate or utensils if people were making waffles or using the toaster.

Property location was convient to where we needed to go. Room was a bit outdated, found roaches and the hot water label on the shower was reversed causing us to miss our first morning shower until we brought the problem up to the front desk and they told us about the labeling problem.

There are other and better options in Gainesville.
I was in Gainesville for 1-night on business and stayed here because the price was reasonable. The place has a run-down feel to the hotel. It needs a facelift. The worst was finding a roach under the covers in my bed. I would never stay here again.
