Miyako Hotel was wonderful. It’s about 20 min. from Fukuoka airport and across the street from the JR Hakata Train station. Dining and shopping options are great. Fantastic customer service. Domo Arigato to Fumika-san for her excellent assistance in planning our free day in Fukuoka!

Miyako hotel is perfect… can’t thank enough to all staff who are the best and always have smiles on their face when they see us. Hotel room and amenities are excellent but really is the hotel staff who make our travel experience complete. Particularly the spa and reception desk and the rest of staff from luggage handling and the ground floor personnel who help with our taxi cab arrival. Will define come again because of the hotel staff. Great management always starts with people and their services. Thank you to you all❤️！

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The check in was unbelievably friendly and efficient. The girls were so lovely. The rooms were so comfortable and welcoming. Extremely clean and beds and pillowed so soft. Heaven!!!! There is a fantastic Starbucks right next door. The friendliest staff you will ever find. A 1 min walk from a main exit of Hakata station. Location can’t be beaten. Would definitely stay here again. 10/10

I am very pleased & happy to stay in Miyako Hotel Hakata, all the staff is very smiley, friendly & helpful including the car parking officer. I felt like I m at home being taken care by the hotel. Room is very clean & tidy, always fulfilled customers request like give more instead. Not stingy of bottles of water, shampoo, conditioner & body lotion & etc. I stayed there 4 nights & the location is very convenient within 3mins walk is Hakata Station with lots of big shopping mall, restr. Cafe , local delicacy around the premises. Thank you very much to the Miyako hotel team & crew, I will definitely stay again when I m back to Fukuoka in near future & will recommend to my relatives & friends. Well done 👍👍👍for the hospitality & keep it up.

We stayed at some very nice hotels during this year's visit to Japan, but found the Miyako Hakata Hotel to be our favourite. It is ideally located next to the Hakata train station. The hotel is beautiful. The staff, super helpful, professional and kind. Our room was so comfortable and clean. We thoroughly our 5 night stay here and would definitely return.

Well located and very comfortable hotel
Very conveniently located across from the east gate of Hakata Station. We had a fantastic corner room - light and bright, clean and well laid out room with two tables and chair by the window. Bathroom was well lit and water pressure was great. We are breakfast and dinner in the hotel - both good. And we had drinks several nights in the bar upstairs. My only criticism is that the hotel provides only small disposable packets of liquid soap and shampoo - not very environmentally friendly and we went thru many packets over the course of 3 days. The hotel should consider refillable bathroom amenities - every hotel we’ve stayed at across Japan used refillable amenities. Also, we had some laundry done and the amount of plastic and packaging for each laundry item was excessive - again, not environmentally friendly.
