It was recently remodeled, but still kind of plain. The pool was uninviting. It's right next to the main street. The room where the continental breakfast was served reminded me of a janitors closet.

The pictures are deceiving. This is an overpriced motel in a bad area of town. It was incredibly noisy all night. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything in the parking lot, not to mention the busy road that it’s on. Also there were brown stains all over the sheets. If you’re visiting Fresno do not stay here!

Recommend for your road trip
Sam at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and engaging with his guests. The room was surprisingly comfortable and was just what we needed for a one-night stay over on our long road trip. A small breakfast with limited choices, so if you are looking for the traditional continental breakfast at hotels with the waffle maker et. al, then plan on finding a restaurant nearby. But if you want a grab and go bagel or fruit, I recommend Summerfield Inn.
