The view from cabin 17 was amazing especially the sunset. My kids loved the kayaks and fishing off the dock. Wish we had another night here.

World class view in a beautiful spot. It has all the amenities you could ever want for a summer vaction. The staff were lovely, and so were the other guests. So happy we stayed here.

The property is on the water - there's a dock from which you can swim - so that was nice. there are conoes and kayaks that you can use. the room itself was clean and newly renovated - nice big window looking out to the water. The mini-fidge was new but had no freezer, so you can't refreeze ice-packs. The coffee maker was tiny and not very good, which is important because the restaurant is not open till 11am - so no breakfast/coffee is available, and nothing close by. The restaurant itself was quite poor in terms of food quality, but the staff were nice and friendly.

Really bad A/C.
The room was pretty good. Obviously has been "renovated" to bring up to date. Windows were very dirty and could hardly see out them. Fridge was dirty, but the rest of the room was pretty good. Absolute worse part was the window A/C that did not work and made horrible noises when trying to use. There was one very small window that could open, but that's it. Was not a very good night sleep because of this.

Lakeside location. Good food on the property. Soft bed. Fridge and microwave in the room. Large room. Very loud Knock on the door at 9 am asking if i was going to stay another day. Yet check out time 11 am? What the heck?

The place is nice but we did not like the way it is operated. The reception is inside the restaurant and closed Sunday and Monday. And even when it opens nobody is in there. We had to look for someone and to wait to check in and to check out. During the check out they charged us a little more than the price was booked through the hotels.com. I would recommend to pay through the website to avoid overcharging. The room was clean, but window ac was very lound and the water had a bad smell. The location is nice, beautiful nature.

The inside of the rooms were renovated not too long ago, but it just looked neglected: damaged paint, old chipped bed side table, windows not cleaned, etc. I would give the rooms one star. They were spacious, however, and more or less clean looking. The outside area with the dock was nice. You can just put your kayaks in and paddle Rogers Bay of French River. They also have simple kayaks to borrow. I probably won't be back, but I could see people who are less concerned about the rooms use it for its location.

The check in was strange, the bartender had to check us in and she was very busy. No ice is provided. No housekeeping either. We had to go to the bar to pick up coffee for the second day.

A lovely serene location after a long drive. The cheapest of all our hotels on a 2,000 km road trip in the US and Canada, but one of the best. Great beds, lovely deck on the French River, use of kayaks and picnic tables to eat and watch the sunset.
