Unwind with the whole family at this peaceful, historic 4 bedroom/2 bathroom home, steps away from the Battlefield in downtown Fredericksburg. This home is walking distance to the college, the train station, the farmer’s market, the canal path, the river walk, as well as all the downtown restaurants and shops.
The house features a twin bedroom downstairs off the dining room. Upstairs there are 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms: a queen bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a bedroom with a full-size bed, and a bedroom with two twin-size beds and a twin pull-out futon. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Pack and play and high chair are available on request. The washer and dryer are off the kitchen; laundry detergent provided. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking and baking supplies, coffee maker, keurig, coffee and creamer, toaster, and dishwasher. If there’s anything you are missing, let us know and we can help you out!

Perfect for family stay

Great place to stay!
My friends and I came for a quick weekend trip for a wedding, and the house gave us all we need. They had a nice list at the house that had food places and coffee places near the house to try, which was so helpful! Super close walking distance to Fredericksburg downtown area. Had everything we needed. Easy check in and check out process as well. Definitely recommend!

Nice house overall however we found the beds to be quite uncomfortable. House was very clean and well stocked Great communication with host Very good location A/c worked very well We all found the beds to be uncomfortable. House was very clean but could use some sprucing up (e.g. new couch, fixtures, some doors not on the hinges well, locks hard to use…)

Good location
Location was good for getting around the historical downtown area and also easy to get around to the modern conveniences. The only thing I would have liked to see was a more fully stocked kitchen. I planned to cook for my family but there was only one small pan in the kitchen.

Old but good
Six friends came in town for the Marine Corps Half Marathon. This house isn’t luxury by any means, but it was a great stay. The owners were lovely and very communicative and the location is great (two mins to downtown, only five minutes from the race). Would stay again if I run again.

For per night cost, need to up the game. Shower curtains and plastic rods over closet spaces. Tatty sofa and armchair seating- All there is other than spindly uncomfortable chairs at kitchen table. Tissues would be nice. Barebones but a cute bunny in back yard. And quite clean
