Get away and bring everyone together. At just 60 minutes from Chicago you can do both. This big lake home is modern with a rustic twist, blending updated amenities and a wide open floor plan. Can’t find someone? Check the multi-tiered deck, because they’re probably relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake. Everyone will have plenty of space to hang together or spread out. You’re also walking distance from El Puerto for some lakeside Mexican dining, music and margaritas! When you’re feeling adventurous, rent a boat at nearby Jet Fun rentals and head on over to Blarney Island, the floating bar in the middle of Grass Lake. We also have a recommendation for a fantastic fishing guide that will pick you up at our dock. If not outdoors swimming, fishing, boating or laying the sun enjoy some time in the second family room. It’s complete with a pool table, air hockey, ping pong, arcade games and another smart TV. So lay back, put your feet up, and relax!

Very roomy and comfortable
Check in was easy, very roomy. Nice owners. Plenty of towels, and blankets. We booked it because of the pool table and games, but if you are a serious pool player you will be disappointed. Uneven table and two sides too close to wall to shoot balls. Beds are very comfortable. Nice bathrooms. Love having choice of coffee pots. Big farm table to eat as a family. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

House was clean, welcoming and well set up. We loved our visit, even though it was November, and the weather wasn’t great. Such a great getaway, with more than enough room for us to enjoy a weekend away.

Great experience - Highly recommend!
This property was perfect for our needs, and the owners are amazing. Starting with the owners, the communication was great, and they were very accommodating and available for our questions and needs. For example, our checkout ended up being slightly delayed because of a few different reasons (one of which was because of an unexpected road closure due to an accident), and the owners were very understanding and flexible without any hassle whatsoever. The house is great, and as described. We all loved the game room, and there is a lot of space for all kinds of recreational activity, and privacy when needed. Kitchen and other parts of the house was stocked for all of our needs. The deck is a good size, and also offers great opportunities and space to hang out. We rented a pontoon boat for the one whole day from nearby place, and it was really nice having our own private pier. Overall, great place, with great owners, resulted in a wonderful experience for my family. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation
This is the second year we came to this house. It's always perfectly clean! The stay is amazing every time. They redid the stairs outside which was great! We rented a pontoon and they let us use their donut. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully, we can do this again next year!

Wonderful Location; Lovely Home
Four adults and three kiddos had plenty of room and LOTS of fun. Jumping off the pier and the swim mat were a huge hit. We also really enjoyed a campfire on the deck. There was plenty of wood provided. The house is clean and has enough space that everyone could find a spot for a little down time. Bring your own beach towels, but there are life vests in all sizes available. Be prepared to sweep away cobwebs outside, but that definitely shouldn't spoil your stay. We had a wonderful time. A big thank you to the hosts for sharing their home with us.

Awesome Spot
This place is HUGE! Everything was so clean and open, they had games available and a boat rental less than 5 minutes away which was perfect for fishing. Loads of Fishing poles and life vests. This place was perfect. The stairs outside the pier are a little wonky, but I think every lakehouse is like that. 100/100 would stay here again and recommend it to someone.

Perfect location for a great time. We stayed the weekend and are considering booking again in the summer months. The property is on the lake and it looks like that would be a blast for the kids in the summer. They also have a game room if the weather doesn't cooperate.

50th Anniversary family celebration
This lake house was all that we expected. It slept our 12 - 6 adults & 6 grandkids. Eric was terrific - quick to respond & easy to work with. Weather was cooler than we expected but we were all in the water a lot and when not, the lake house offered enough to keep everyone very happy. There was plenty of space to spread out. The grandkids loved the lily pad and paddle boat. The location was great.

Great weekend getaway.
We rented this property to celebrate our daughters 10th birthday with family and it didn't disappoint. The views from the property where beautiful. The game room kept all ages entertained. Was able to watch some Cubs games on the Marquee Sports Network which was an unexpected bonus. The owners were very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend.

Amazing hosts and property
The pictures show the beauty of this property but in person we were blown away. The house itself has so much space to entertain and relax with a large group comfortably. Being on the water and the views from within the house was so relaxing. The screened in deck was perfect for the rainy weekend. The hosts were amazing as well and so quick to respond to any questions. We had a girls weekend during the spring and all agreed we would love to come back during the summer.
