I don’t know why some people judge the La Quinta facilities they are some of the most budget friendly and cleanest hotel chain I’ve stayed in. This one did not fail my expectations! The stay only backed up the good things about the hotel!

Ok for one night. Very basic in all areas.
Check in was great-that is where the greatness ended. The hotel allows pets which is ok BUT you can smell animals once you leave the lobby area. Hallway on the 2nd floor had a very strong animal smell. Room was not clean at all. It smelled of pet urine, toilet was dirty, desk had crumbs on it and the floor had hairballs. We did change rooms and the 2nd room was better. Not 100% clean but better. The beds were comfortable ;however, the bunk beds did not provide a blanket only a top sheet. I chose this hotel for one night because of the multiple bed option. I have two adult children so needed three beds. Breakfast was so-so. It was free which was nice. Bread was out and then replaced with frozen bread. Cereal provided but no milk. In the end- it provided one night of rest on our way to Gulf Shores. If more than one night I would have changed hotels.

Safe private location. Close to shopping and excellent dining options close by. Within walking distance to beach. Convenient to get to and plenty of parking. Staff very friendly and helpful. Carpeting could be vacuumed more often in the hallways.

We have used La Quinta hotels all over the country as we travel with our pets often, this was the first time we wanted to leave on arrival due to the state of numerous rooms we stayed in over a short stay, 3 rooms to be exact! The rooms were filthy, the first room was being worked on so we had to be moved immediately. The second room was dirty and the bed didn’t feel clean, resulting in being itchy. We then requested for the room to be cleaned as we have 2 small dogs and on arrival back in the evening wasn’t, now meaning we moved for a 3rd time. Only to find dead bugs and a used band aid in the shower. To add to this, there was pee in the corridor from the time we checked in to the time we left. This isn’t the standard we would expect from La Quinta Inn’s which has now questioned whether we will ever use them again! This resort needs to get on top of its cleaning ASAP or lose more customers.

Nice hotel in Miramar and super friendly staff!
We had to relocate a couple of times due to a bad experience at Embassy Suites Miramar and lack of hotel availability in the area. La Quinta was the cleanest of the three places that we stayed. The front desk person was SO nice and allowed us early check in. The breakfast was good and the hotel is very nice.
