Disappointing Hotel Policy
The hotel was excellent except for their housekeeping policies of maid service every other day on my 5 night business stay. I was working 10-12 hour days and the last thing I wanted to return was a bed that needed to be made, trash to empty, and used towels. After the first day of no sevice I asked the front desk for daily service, with no need to change sheets. They noted my request, somewhat apathetically, but did not honor it. I paid the same each night as I would have for a single night and expected the same daily service. I stay in hotels over 100 nights per year on business, usually one night per hotel, and I was very disappointed with this stay.

Very clean, did not give 5 star because the pillows are really bad, I had to use 2 pillow because otherwise would be like I laid my head directly over the mattress. Also the breakfast is average but not enough in peak hours, you have to wait for restocking the food. The people who work in the hotel are very nice. It is next to a highway with a hospital nearby, gets noisy.

Hotel seemed brand new in all regards. Front desk person was pleasant and seemed happy to be there. Free breakfast was good and convenient. Easy 8 - 10 minute walk to downtown Ft Myers.

Basic for a Hampton Inn
Nothing special here. Basic accommodation for a Hampton Inn. Newer property near downtown. Parking good, breakfast just OK. No other amenities like snacks. Water was not hot, and typical SWFL water odd smells, had to turn faucet to hot for showering. Room was clean. Every other day cleaned, but not daily.

A very clean hotel. We stayed here because we were attending a conference. We were so impressed with the staff, the cleanliness, and general overall care of the place. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again, if in the area.
