Disappointed in the customer service and room cleanliness. We arrived early for our post-cruise stay, and were told checkin was at 3 or we could check back before them to see if our rooms were ready, or we could pay an early checkin fee of $50, but didn’t want to pay that so asked to have our bags stored and had to pay $2 per bag because they don’t have a dedicated room for luggage, but yet they stored our bags in a secured conference room so they do have a room to store luggage which seemed contradictory and confusing. You either have a room or u don’t. So silly the way it was explained by the staff and made it very irritating as a customer. We also couldn’t get checked in until exactly 3pm when the front desk person got off of work. It felt like she didn’t want to help any of the customers, just kept telling all of us that were waiting in the lobby she couldn’t do anything, but magically at 3pm, all the rooms were ready. But if we paid $50 for early checkin a room was ready. Our rooms on the 2nd floor “seemed” clean but smelled so musty, there was a soda left on the countertop, and the carpet on floor 2 hallway was gross. We were moved to floor 5 and that seemed much better so maybe floor 2 needs to be updated? Anyway, poor communication from the front staff and room was not being up to par for a Wyndham is the reason for this review. Disappointed! Next cruise I will stay at Tru by Hilton where we had a much better experience during our pre-cruise stay.

Room was really nice! Very modern and feltclean! But ibgave it three stars because thebshower didnt drain and there was no coffee in the room. There was a codfee pot. Basic little things thst should be a no brainer.

We evacuated for the hurricane and the hotel was very busy. The room was fine and the hotel itself was fine. The front desk staff were very very nice! The restaurant/bar was great too. Very nice. The one not so great thing would be the parking situation. The amount of rooms vs parking spaces was mind boggling to me. I knew once I had a parking space, I couldn’t leave because I would have nowhere to park. There isn’t a walkway into the hotel either. If you end up on the top floor of the parking garage, you got the pleasure of walking all the way down THRU the parking garage. We were there for a few days and I did have to leave so I had to end up parking across the street at the taco stand. Thankfully, they allowed it.

We are salty but not from the beach
We booked this stay during hurricane Milton evacuation because it stated it was pet friendly. The day before check in we received an early check in notice that stated it was not pet friendly and if we bring a pet on the premises we would be charged $250. After trying to call- this was a treat- we were told there would be $150 charge for a pet. We sent an email to the hotel asking about the pet fee, and 24 hours later, received an answer that they charge $50 for a pet. We were already on our way back to the West Coast by that point. We were not going to stay and pay more for the pet fee than the cost of the hotel room. If we had signed the document sent for early check in, we probably would have been charged $250. This was an awful situation to be in during an emergency when all hotels were booked.

The property was okay the room was noisy and after we checked we had not 1 but 2 fire alarms go off. The first was someone smoking in their room the second was supposedly a pull station was faulty. The first was at 1am after we had only been there and in bed an hour and the second was an hour later. Terrible we had to evacuate and the fire department had to come. Grateful it wasnt real but just incontinent.
