I think the area, proximity and staff was great. I have stayed to multiple Sonesta's across the country and this was not a favorite. The rooms were fairly old, smells throughout the hallway and it didn't feel well kept. It was decent, but I am not sure I would stay again.

Sonesta is the Best for the Price.
We enjoy Sonesta ES in Plantation. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and breakfast is really good. I like that they change up the breakfast offerings each day too. I was only disappointed this time because I asked for a receipt when checking out and was given one with only the total, not an itemization. I also wish they just rolled the $5/day parking fee into the room price, but not a big deal.

A great stay
Hotel was nice, clean and spacious. I really enjoyed my time tere. I had only stayed at 1 other sonesta, in Memphis. I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by a friendly staff member. This was a unplanned trip and the hotel that I originally booked for the night, had a non-working elevator which prompted me to find another room in 10 minutes. Sometimes you just make the right choice under pressure. Will definitely be staying here in the future.
