Only big issue i had was the noise from the traffic off of 95 next but not much can do there unless ask for a room on front of building I love the bathroom and the shower all and all my stay was great i was please.

Room was basic and a bit old. Fine if you just need a bed for the night. Shower was clogged and wouldn’t drain. Outdated but was not dirty. Breakfast was not good. Smell of weed in hallways. It was good for a night.

The room was clean for the most part and the staff was friendly. I loved that there was no carpet. There was hair on the sheets for the pull out sofa so it was obvious that hadn’t been changed prior to my visit. Ended up not sleeping on that but did pull it out when I left as a hint to housekeeping to give it some TLC before the next guests. The gym was down which I expected based on the reviews I read. What I didn’t expect was the pool to be shut down by the health department 4 days prior to my booking as that was the main reason I chose this hotel. Had I known I would’ve booked elsewhere. Considering that it was closed by the health department for whatever reason several days prior, there was plenty of time to update this information online with their partners. I also didn’t like or appreciate the extra nightly charges added to my bill for having my 16 year old son when I entered all the relevant information during the search and booking process. If there was going to be additional nightly fees for my child then that would’ve been the time to tell me…..not when I’m checking into the property at 1-2am after an exhausting 7 hour drive with a restless toddler.

Hurricane refuge
This was a last second booking as we ran out the door to evacuate for hurricane Milton. It’s an old run down place no doubt and the breakfast needs a lot of help. But this hotel staff is top notch. After we arrived my brother and his girlfriend decided to evacuate too. Without hesitation the front desk staff offered a parking pass and free breakfast vouchers for them for their 1 night stay with us. The rooms are very clean, our room had a microwave and a good size mini fridge that held all our hurricane snacks. The suite was nice, with a door dividing the living area with pull out couch. Housekeeping was attentive. The pool area is sub-par and the hot tub is filled with algae but this hotel kept us safe and everyone was accommodating
