Ahhhhh!
So amazing to look out over a pond with many lily pads and surrounded by wildflowers. Birds enjoying the feeders and chippies enjoying the dropped seeds added to the charm. The fire pit allowed for some hot dog roasting and, afterwards, gazing at the stars. Then a peaceful night in a very comfy bed.

Hidden Gem
The cottage was as advertised and more! The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and clean. We spent most of our days outside enjoying and fishing the pond. We were surprised at how large some of the fish were! The evenings were cool enough to enjoy the fire pit and the provided wood was a great perk. If you like wildlife, there are plenty of birds and saw a deer in the morning. Our only advice is to try and bring what you need as there are not many shopping choices. We look forward to coming back!

Quiet nature paradise
This is a quiet, private, hidden gem. A nature lovers paradise in south western PA. If you are a birder you are in for a real treat with the dozens of species that visit daily. Hosts are wonderful people and are there if you need them but hands off if you don’t. Can’t wait until our next visit!

Perfect Little Hideaway
This property feels very exclusive and was so quiet. The property owners gave us really clear directions on the way down and we were left to ourselves the whole stay. The perfect distance to Ohiopyle without being in the busy parts of it. Thanks for the stay!

Cozy Tranquility
Mona and Bryon have a delightlful property and they allow their guests to set the tone. Check-in was as simple as unpakcking our car, but Mona and Bryon were always available if we had questions. The cabin was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed to settle in for a few days of quiet and beauty. The birds and critters are as much a part of the experience as the scenic location. I enjoyed taking hundreds of pictures of "the locals" and my wife and I explored the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail in nearby Confluence. So much to do and see nearby and a cozy place to come home to. Great experience!

Full Moon over the Pond in Fort Hill
If you enjoy sitting quietly watching all the activity going on in and around the pond next to your very private cabin; if you want the best place anywhere to watch the full moon interact with the clouds and reflect off the pond; if you want a great location in the Laurel Highlands, with trails and rivers and mountains nearby; and if you appreciate great hosts who are readily available anytime you need them, but give you your space if you don't, this is the place for you.

We’ve been staying at the cottage every year since we were married there in 2014. We are never disappointed! Thank you for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

A Slice of Heaven
This was our third stay, and it was nothing short of amazing, as usual. Our first stay, in 2018, is when we got engaged. Our second stay, in 2019, was to celebrate our honeymoon. This stay, in 2023, was to celebrate our 4-year anniversary. From the first impression, to just this recent stay, the Campbell Farm cottage and property holds a very special place in our hearts and lives. The cottage is filled with all of the comforts of home and have a way of taking you back in time, when things were less hectic. Inside and out, Campbell Farm is absolutely one of the most beautiful, peaceful and comfortable places on earth. A true slice of heaven. As before, all of our senses were filled with the most beautiful sights, sounds and smells of nature all around. We loved seeing all of our wildlife friends again. They seemed to enjoy having us back. And the hosts, Mona & Bryon, are two of the most beautiful, pleasant and down-to-earth people we've ever met. We love Campbell Farm and everything about it! And we can't wait to go back!

Each visit to Campbell Farm is a joy
We have been coming to this property for over 10 years and each visit has been wonderful. The hosts are wonderful people. The pond, flowers, birds, and peacefulness of the cottage property are outstanding. The kitchen is well equipped. We like to bring food and cook in the cottage. We always drive over to one of the GAP trail parking lots and ride our bikes (or run) on the trail. Our favorite ride is from Meyersdale to Frostburg. We have never been disappointed by a visit to Campbell Farm.

Wonderful, private spot to unplug. No tv, no problem. Beautiful property to hike, fish, birdwatch, build a fire and roast marshmallows. Comfortable cottage with cozy bed, kitchen has everything you need and more. Be prepared to drive to local sites to bike, raft, and visit Wright-designed homes, about 30-40 mins away.
