Absolutely brilliant staff - nothing was too much and they were exceptionally helpful. There is also cutlery and a bottle opener etc that you can use if you want to eat in.

This is a lovely old home with a beautiful foyer and back garden. The "front desk" is only monitored in the morning so guests are pretty much on their own. The room was spacious. The windows are incredibly sound proof and I know this because we slept with the windows open our first night (not realizing we had air conditioning in the room) and the traffic noise was roaring in the morning. When I got up and shut the windows, it was remarkable the quiet! It was a bit of a walk to the Duomo and other historic spots but not too bad. We were in Florence in 35 degree heat - if the spring and fall, those walks would have been much more enjoyable. This felt like a residential neighborhood which we enjoyed but not too much action in the immediate area. All in all a lovely place to stay. ps - we had a car and were able to park in a safe lot around the corner from the hotel for 15 euros/night.

Great place. Great comms and the room was really large. A well stocked mini bar and coffee in reception area was great. Loved having a good supermarket close by and lots of local coffee shops and eating places.

Gorgeous sweet and hotel overall. We felt like royalty. A little bit of a walk to main attractions but we were able to burn some calories from eating so much!

The property is well located and is accessible by the water taxis and you can walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about Venice. Would return in the future and spend more time.

Convenient location slightly away from center (about 20min walk). Internet is too weak and spotty at times. We had a room on the first floor facing the street that is quite busy. At time noisy, especially when vespas are passing by.

This was an amazing find. The property is wonderful. We were there 5 nights, my son and family 2 nights and another son and children one night! Rooms were great, the courtyard very pretty-we used it every night! The location is quiet but still has walkable spots for coffee, market, laundry,etc. We could walk to all the major sites in 20-25 min, taxis were also available. Gabriele, at the hotel, was extremely helpful and accomodating-we couldn’t have asked for a better host! This is a five star in my opinion!

The location was outstanding, walkable to all the sites, perfect spot. A nice bodega & bar right outside the courtyard as well as a Gelateria! Unfortunately the apartment was not as nice as the pictures portray. The one air conditioning unit could not cool below 80 degrees even after a technician was sent. I even suggested 2 fans for the bedrooms would have helped a great deal. As it is a converted attic, the heat was very uncomfortable to say the least. There is only one window in the entire unit. The bathroom is very outdated, broken toilet seat, low water pressure. Difficult to shower without water on the floor. Kitchen was fine, but we didn’t use anything. Microwave and tv did not work. Bedrooms were adequate but doors have to be left open for any airflow at all. The stairs leading to the apartment, 3 different sets, with last being narrow, sloping stone steps with no handrails anywhere. I’ve rented many properties and this, by far, was the most disappointing. With only a small amount of money it could be made so much more comfortable and appealing.

Stayed 3 nights while in Florence and absolutely loved Relais La Corte di Cloris. Staff were friendly and helpful, about a 15 minute walk from main city attractions. The room was very clean, bed and pillows comfortable. The only downside was that our room was next to a rather busy street and we could hear traffic until around 23:00. Still managed to get some good sleep. Would definitely recommend!

Overall, 7/10. Check in was quick and very communicative with all the necessary info you will need. Bed was ok, pillows were a little soft. The biggest downsides where: a) the bathroom had a urine smell. When I inquired about this, I was told that since it was raining the pipes are a little old and don't always work. I was given a spray to help "freshen" things up. The spray did work, but I had to reapply twice a day. b) Shower is VERY tight. The entrance to the shower in my room was about half a foot away from the toilet - not the most pleasant experience. I enjoyed the service, but will not stay again. The city center is also fairly far away - about 20min by foot.

I’ll start with the good: the areas around the hotel were all walkable for us, which made it very easy for us to get to our tour locations on time. The kitchen was a huge help as we made our own meals often. The bad: Their air conditioning did not work despite us asking for a fix, they never followed up with us, they just said they would fix it and they never did. The area around the hotel is very noisy as it is a hustle and bustle area of Florence. They planned to charge us if we wanted our sheets, towels, or anything of that matter replaced in our four night stay (you would usually assume that hotels provide daily cleaning and swap out of towels, etc.). They also planned to charge us for the cleaning of the kitchen area, despite not asking us if we would be open to cleaning it for them (they just came in and cleaned it without consultation). There is also no front reception service for half the day, so it would make it very difficult to access them if, somehow, you were locked out of your room (thankfully we were not). Overall, this was an average stay and I do not think I would recommend. However, if you’re looking for a great location to get around the city easily and are ok with extra expenses, this might be your place. Enjoy your travels.

This was a nice gem of a hotel. Armando works the front desk he checked in and out and was awesome. They have a lovely courtyard in the back which my husband loved sitting in each morning listening to birds. It’s a little far to the train station but if you knew the public transportation it would be easy no problem. Everything was close to walk to. We took a taxi close 15-20€ they have a lot of one way streets. It’s an older hotel but it’s clean, linens good but could be better. However we still would recommend this. And give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Go enjoy!

It was a beautiful room. Although it may seem at first like a far walk from the main train station there are beautiful sites along the way as well as multiple food and drink options. Out of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy (7) this was by far our favourite.
