Quiet area of downtown Florence. 10 min walk to Plazza de Flori which was stunning. Another 5 min to Uffizi and Pointe Vechio. Clean apartment with everything you need. Very large shower in 4 piece bathroom. Lived my 6 days there. Shops round the corner for milketc. Would definitely stay there again.

This place has something that most hotels within this range in Florence lack, SPACE. If you want an ample room more than anything else, this place is perfect. It was pretty clean and check in was easy. There is no front desk and it is isn’t exactly a hotel. However, they clean every day and leave coffee which is nice. Overall, I felt it was commensurate to what we paid and, like I said, comfortable.

I stayed at the Palazzo Branchi for 2 nights. The room was clean and somewhat well appointed, although I felt the bathroom toiletries provided were poor(no hair conditioner, and no washcloths). My only issues with the room were: 1.) The woman who lived next door would be up at 5:45-6 am talking loudly, yelling at her partner/roommate, singing and generally being loud for that early in the morning. She woke me up both mornings I was there. Another problem was 2.) CONSTRUCTION GOING ON NEXT DOOR! That started at 8 am. If you are a heavy sleeper, or like to get up early, then these things would not be a problem for you. But, if you are a light sleeper like me, and like to sleep in until 9, you will not have a good night’s sleep. And 3.) There is no one in the reception or anywhere around to help you or answer questions. The owners/managers did provide a phone number, or you can reach them on What’s App ( which I don’t have), but I guess that could be my fault for not reading the small print, or misinterpreting it, but if I had known that this place was really more of a short term rental type place instead of an actual hotel, I wouldn’t have reserved it. I guess it’s all about what you’re looking for, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
