I absolutly loved this hotel. Its right next to all the tourist stuff and plenty of food without feeling overwhelming. The room was the biggest in our Europe experience and felt clean and quiet

Great location
Overall location is great! Minutes from everything. Check in was smooth, the lady up front was so sweet and friendly. Only complaint was the room had a weird sewer smell but slowly went away by day 2 but stil smelled it. Overall nice stay.

We enjoyed being on the old city side of the Ponte Vecchio bridge, much less congested. Simone was great at the front desk, helped us out with the taxi/marathon issue.

I was there for 2 nights, but the last night the AC broke. Not much a big deal, we open the window. But, the bed made a big noise every time we turned. Other than that is a great place to stay. Staff were great.

This property is in the perfect location in the center of Florence, with virtually all of the main attractions within easy walking distance. The area is safe with lots of foot traffic all day, but is not at all noisy. There are few steps (maybe 5) to access the elevator, which is ancient but works very well) The beds in the suite were comfortable and located in different rooms, which provided a measure of privacy. The rooms included several bottles of water (regular and sparkling) and sodas in the refrigerator, which were replenished daily when the room was cleaned (along with coffee and tea). Simona was a wonderful host before and after we arrived. Other staff (Margherita and Juliet) were also very helpful. We would most definitely staff here again!

Our host was friendly, she answered all of our questions. I did not like the fact that there are no signs to the property. We accessed for an alley, which made me think it was an unsafe place, then we realized the entrance was on the opposite side, a small plaza walking distance to a bigger plaza.

Disappointed in accommodations. The bed was so uncomfortable we left after the first night-scheduled 2 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms did not look like the advertised pictures. Also advertised down comforter, was a sheet and blanket as thin as a sheet. Toilet was very close to the sink as having to slide under it to sit. Wifi was extremely slow. A lot of noise from upstairs. The price did not match the quality of accommodations- and we had two separate rooms. The positives were the gentleman who checked us in was very nice and the location is great but unfortunately we lost a lot of money on this stay as we could not stay past the one night due to the amount of discomfort.

Excellent air conditioning, which was appreciated! Sometimes, upon re-entering the apartment, we noticed a musty sewage type odor, which dissipated when we opened the windows and aired it out. Might this be typical of old buildings? Otherwise, a great place to stay.
