Self service check in after 6pm so if you arrive after that you're on your own. I arrived after 10pm due to a late train and had a hard time finding the hotel. She was unable to email me the video showing how to do self service check in. Had to call the manager after hours (an international call) to ask what the code was to get into the hotel. Finally got into my room. They use a wooden key ring with 3 keys on it - one key for the outside door, one for another door outside my room, and one for my room. Breakfast was included in my booking but I never got it for any of the three days I was there because you have to fill out a form the night before and they leave promptly at 6pm. If you haven't filled out the form- no breakfast for you! Also- they don't speak English so verbal communication was difficult. Otherwise, it's in a great location, super clean, air conditioned for those who come in the summer like me, and so very charming.

Cute hotel with great location.
Very cute hotel. In the perfect, central location to the many attractions in Florence. About 20 min walk from the train station. We have two kids so it was helpful to have everything within a 10-15min walk. We stayed in the suite—had 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and bathroom. Air conditioning was a huge benefit give the Florence temps in summer (over 90F). If we ever visit Florence again we’ll stay here again.

La Casa del Garbo was conveniently located in Piazza della Signoria, from which we were able to easily walk to various museums, the Duomo, and Ponte Vecchio. The B&B was charming and well-kept, however anticipate negotiating stairs as there is not an accessible elevator at this site. Would definitely stay again :)

Lovely location and warm staff!
The staff was wonderful and location was great. The bed and couch were not very comfy and the breakfast was timed and very simple. We didn't initially realize that everything was unplugged and we had to turn on the water heater for a warm shower but once identified those were easy enough to manage. Not that it was entirely unexpected, but there is no elevator and we were three flights up so that is something to consider.

We stayed here from APRIL 2nd till April 5th .I can not tell enough how happy I am with this hotel. I have very high expectations standards. But this hotel has everything I was looking for and staff are amazing and helpful. Location is great. Very nice view and friendly neighborhood and cool atmosphere's . Delicious breakfast. I wish I could give them all 100. Definitely I be back and this location is highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing. Surpassed all my expectations. The service was top notch and the location couldnt be better. The hotel is located in Piazza Di Signoria which is breath taking and a very short walk to shopping, the Uffizi museum, and tons of dining options. Would definitely stay there again!

Loud music and parties detracted from the visit.
Beautiful property in a very convenient spot on the Piazza. We were very disappointed by the noise immediately below us, which made it impossible to sleep until late into the night. Loud disco music past midnight combined with shouting and partying characterized our experience on floor two, directly above the Gucci bar. Higher rooms probably do not have this problem, but the hotel was booked, so we were stuck. We notified the property manager, but they were unable to cure the problem and refused a refund, saying the issue was out of their control.
